I know that Blaze is the protagonist of the show, they want him to be a positive example to kids and all, BUT COME ON. ADDING SOME FLAWS/LIMITANTS TO HIM AND HIS ABILITIES WON'T HURT ANYBODY 😭

YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT HIS BLAZING SPEED WOULDN'T DRAIN HIM, ESPECIALLY IF HE'S SHARING IT WITH OTHERS. The others might feel a little tired afterwards, yeah, but all the rest of the side-effects go directly to Blaze because HE is the source of the power. Vro can PASS OUT because of that.

Also I actually had the idea that Crusher's smaller creations lasted longer than the bigger ones but I think your version has much more sense!! :0

Also ALSO thank you for saying that Blaze's transformation power also gets him tired because I thought I was the only one. And I'd like to add that the climatic conditions in which he is can affect the utility of his transformation and transforming would be a lot harder as it would take a lot of energy. I feel like he'd get a little boost/"high" the time he lasts transformed, but the moment he goes back to his original form, he will feel like absolute shit. ☹

a little rant fan-explanation about Blaze and Crusher’s abilities in the show because I think WAY to deep about them

It’s just me explaining their abilities, the drawbacks/aftermath, and their limits as it isn’t explained in the show

Such as the Blazing Speed, Blaze’s transformation ability, and Crusher’s cheats

Blazing Speed: As fast as the power is, it has its downsides and aftermath. For one, it has a one time use. Meaning that once Blaze uses it, he can’t use it for the next 24 hours because of its cooldown. Not only that, because the ability is so powerful, it takes a toll on his physical condition once it’s used. Though he doesn’t feel it at the moment because of his adrenaline, the side effects that he experiences results in fatigue and lack of energy since the mass speed drains all of it. Which is why he waits for the right moment for it to be used, so it won’t go to waste. As seen in the show, Blaze uses this power at a crucial time so he won’t go above his limit, and get there fast enough. Especially if he were to overdo his blazing speed and use it for longer than he could handle, he gets BAD fatigue and can hardly function once his adrenaline stops, even nausea in most of his cases. So to ease the aftermath, he sleeps as much as possible to regain his energy and ability to get himself moving again. Even if he still remains dizzy and unbalanced for a while, he rests until he’s good to go.

Briefly, this power is very useful if you’re willing to handle the side effects and aftermath of its usage.

Blaze’s Transformation: Again, as great as that power is, it has its drawbacks. To be able to transform into whatever it is he wants, he has to fully understand the exact blueprint of the form he’s trying to achieve. Meaning that he can’t fully transform if he’s missing even one detail. And like his blazing speed, this ability drains out his physical energy as well because it requires his physical strength to withstand the structure, and he has to undergo the actual transformation process as well. The amount of energy his transformations require depends on the size and complexity of his desired form. So the more he transforms in one shot, the weaker they become. If he uses too many in one go, they become so weak the form loses his function and becomes useless. And overdoing his transformations drains his physical energy so much he loses his mobility for a period of time, while also experiencing heavy fatigue, difficulty in concentration, and weakness.

There isn’t a specific time limit or cooldown to his transformations, since it all varies on how much energy they consume. The bigger and more complex, the more required energy and the less he’s able to transform. As he’s able to transform more with smaller, less complex forms that require less energy.

To be able to transform the way he does, Blaze spends a lot of his time thoroughly studying and understanding different blueprints/layouts of the forms he intends to become. Specifically, he studies layouts of machine forms that would be more practical and convenient for him to use, to prevent him from mixing up his forms or struggling to remember them.

When choosing the form he needs to become, Blaze has to keep multiple factors in mind. He has to consider how long each transformation would take, so he doesn’t end up transforming too late. He also has to consider the danger levels of the form, to prevent injuring anybody around him. Blaze has to be super careful and cautious when it comes to his forms, he has to understand how to use it correctly without causing any destruction. So, if he were to transform on the spot without a good understanding of the form, it would be a major risk as he could easily misuse the form and cause a lot of harm to himself and others. In summary, Blaze’s transformation power is as powerful as it’s dangerous. But, if you use it the way he does with proper knowledge and practice, it comes in great use.

Crusher’s Cheats: Crusher’s ability isn’t too much different from Blaze. While Blaze can transform into different machines, Crusher can actually create them himself. And similarly to Blaze, It’s also a powerful ability if you know how to use it, but it has its drawbacks just like any other.

Crusher has to know the exact layout and blueprint of whatever he desires to make. But as seen in the show, the majority of Crusher’s creations go wrong because of him not knowing how to operate them. I’ll explain, Crusher doesn’t take the time to understand whatever he’s making, he makes his creations impulsively at the moment. So because of his lack of information on the robot or machine he makes, his body substitutes the missing details by adding in random functions to make the machine operate. And seen in the show, Crusher’s creations often come with buttons or functions that Crusher doesn’t know were there. So all those unnecessary features are only there for the purpose of making up for the details lacked or what Crusher fails to understand. So unlike Blaze who takes his time to understand the layout beforehand, Crusher does it on the spot and it results in him messing up his machinery.

And while his creations don’t affect his physical condition, it has another drawback. That drawback is that he only has a limited amount of material in his satchel. Meaning that he can’t make too many robots, otherwise it would use up all the material he has. The amount of material he has is dependent on what he makes, so he can make more robots if they require less material. But he can only make very few of his larger and more complex robots, which would drain out his material a lot quicker. And his robots aren’t forever lasting, they have a time limit before they shut down and disappear. His smaller robots have a lower time limit than the bigger ones. So although he can make more of the small robots than the bigger ones, they last a lot less and shut down quicker. However, once a robot shuts down, the material used for it goes back to his satchel, which pretty much recharges it. Once Crusher runs out of his material, he has to wait for his robots to shut down and disappear so his satchel can recharge. It’s easy to wait for his smaller robots to shut down, since the smallest ones last a few minutes, roughly 5-10 minutes depending on the functions. But his larger, and more complex robots last a few hours and sometimes even a day. So Crusher has to make sure to use his creations wisely and carefully, so they don’t go to waste. In conclusion, this power is as equally useful as Blaze’s with the right understanding and knowledge. But, like Crusher, it could equal as much harm and danger as well in the hands of the wrong person.

After my classes, I always went back home by walking because I preferred to leave my car back at the racing school's building. I always passed through this park I used to play in as a kid and most of the time I'd stop by the swings to, well, reflect on the turn my life was giving and some other edgy teenager stuff; it was precisely by the swings where I met this kid, A.J., who's parents let play around without supervision. I never knew why, but their marriage sure seemed troubled from what I could see. I was indifferent about it at first, but overtime I formed a bond with him, if that's how you can phrase it? Hell, I knew him so much to the point where his parents met me and sometimes payed me to watch over him. It's pretty funny to say that a random 17 year old was some sort of caretaker/friend for a child. I got back home late because of it and got some scoldings for it, but I couldn't care less; I wasn’t doing it for a payment anymore.

But one night... just a few months after the kid turned 5 and when I was already 18, his biological parents got into a car accident. A.J. was asleep back at his old home when this happened but, uhm... his parents didn't make it. I got notified days later by a friend who's dad was a police officer... I-I can't explain it, but thinking of what A.J. might have been going through, all alone and surrounded by strangers who only confused him more... it made me angry, frustrated and a whole bunch of things that made me want to punch a hole in a wall. Feeling a lot of things after being numb for so long really fucks you up.

It took me a few weeks, but I managed to convince my parents to let him stay over with us until things were resolved in his biological family. MANY legal things were done, but I finally became the kid's foster parent with the supervision of my own parents. It took A.J. a few days to get used to his new place but he started waking me up every single day once he got comfortable. He was the only reason I started waking up early.

Months after, I got told that no family members from A.J.'s family were available to take care of him, so I had the option to give him away to another family or keep him with me until I became a legal adult. To HELL with giving him away, why was that even an option?

Aaanywho, we moved here to Axle City for my 20th birthday and I officially joined the Axle Riders Racing Group; shoutout to Derek (Darington) for sticking by with me during the whole process. I started living alone with A.J. and I think that, from there, I started feeling more paternal towards him; he also started calling me 'dad' even though I wasn’t a his legal parent yet... i-it hit the feels in a good way.

I DID HAVE A DISCARDED ACTOR AU THAT NEVER POSTED (I left it unfinished 💔)

Everyone had a different personality outside of the show and it even had Watts and Starla being secretly in a relationship (secretly because relationships in work are NOT ideal)

I remember Pickle being the director's friend who got dragged into the show just because he's funny and suddenly became the co-director because he's got some hidden talent. He's also Gabby's bestie. 😭

I also remember Crusher keeping his resting bitch face energy but being like, the sweetest truck on earth. Blaze was actually CLUMSY AND AWKWARD AS FUCK but manages to keep his panic internal each time he's on camera. Like 80% of the bloopers in the show feature him LMAO

Also he was also gay for Crusher in this AU because blasher rots in my brain since 2023*🥰🥰🥰 (this AU was in fact, being made in 2023* and the concept has been rotting in my samsung notes ever since LMAO also I TOTALLY didn't fix the date because I totally didn't just check my notes and realize I have a very poor track of time noooo not at all)
