2018 Women’s Royal Rumble Review

 Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch begin the match.

Sasha Banks: I am living for her Wonder Woman gear. This boss is ready to shine. (As if she doesn’t already.) I can conclude Sasha wants all of the eliminations for herself. Sasha might’ve possibly gotten injured 18 minutes into the match. Twenty-seventh to go. Never turn your back on an opponent. 

Becky Lynch: My steampunk Irish woman is back at it again and ready to win. Becky is steadily fighting people and keeping herself in the ring. We’re almost 30 minutes in and Becky is probably pretty tired. She’s been wrestling consistently but you don’t see it on her face. She’s still serious about getting this win. As soon as I type that Becky becomes the fourteenth to go. You did so wonderful though, Becky. The fans love you.  

Sarah Logan: A new wrestler that came from NXT who is in the Riott Squad with Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan. She seems to be climbing the ladder successfully. She has now been called up to main roster. Sarah is the seventh eliminated. She had a good run though. Very impressive. Let’s see what Liv is going to do without her. 

Mandy Rose: Also a new wrestler. Not as technically sound (in my opinion) as Sarah Logan but still a good wrestler. While she was celebrating to the audience Lita shoved her off the ring. She was the first elimination of the night. It is a shame because we didn’t really get to experience her wrestling style. 

Lita: Lita is of course legendary. Everyone who really loves wrestling knows who Lita is. She is boldly wearing an article of clothing that says “TimesUp” and I am here for it. She comes in as the hot ball of fire we know and love. Lita is ready to give anyone that comes her way a “Twist of Fate”. She was the third elimination of the night, courtesy of Becky Lynch who knew two redheads couldn’t share the same ring. 

Kairi Sane: This pirate is here to make everyone walk the plank. She is spunky and brutal. I love everything about her. From her move set to her quirks. She has a well developed character and does everything flawlessly. The fourth elimination of the night by Dana Brooks. Gone too soon. 

Tamina: Was there for cannon fodder? She left as quickly as she came. She was the second elimination of the night. Lita was the one who eliminated her. 

Dana Brooke: Dana is not that great at knowing when to time her moves. It looks a bit sloppy. Though I may be a bit biased because she eliminated Kairi. Dana is the next to go making her the fifth elimination. 

Torrie Wilson: Known from the attitude era she is the woman in white. Torrie is the sixth elimination. 

Sonya Deville: A powerful woman who packs a punch. I think I’m going to be a big fan of hers. Sonya’s elimination of Torrie was awesome. She’s really got some fire to her. Eighth eliminated, but I can’t wait to watch more of her matches.  

Liv Morgan: I’m really into her theme music and I don’t know if her name is a reference to iZombie but it’d sure be a lot cooler if it was. Wish we could’ve seen more but she was the ninth eliminated. 

Molly Holly: Another big name. We’ll see if she continues the trend of well known superstars getting eliminated soon after they arrive. Wow, she’s still got it. The move she did onto Sasha was really impressive. I think Sasha was hurt after it. Tenth to be eliminated. I do think she was hurt though so it was probably for the better.  

Lana: Okay, that dress thing is really interesting. I also love the “Lana has had enough of your bullying” beat down that she gave Liv and Sonya. Oh lord, she is a good wrestler but never tell anyone that you ARE going anywhere. You will automatically not be allowed to go there. Eleventh to be eliminated. 

Michelle McCool: And just like her husband she’s back-back-back again! She was doing a great job, but just like the Undertaker’s back, she is out! Thirteenth to be eliminated

Ruby Riott: The first thing I noticed about her is that her tats are sick. Everyone tried to eliminate her but she’s not going out that easily. Seventeenth is Ruby. She did gave them a run for their money first though. 

Vickie Guerrero: EXCUSE ME?! ...Why? Yes, she’s got a catchy catchphrase but I was hoping we wouldn’t have to hear that ever again. It didn’t work the first time around and it’s not working now.. Twelfth out and not sorry to see her or the shtick go. 

Carmella: This New Jersey girl is “Miss Money in the Bank” will she be victorious or go home broke? We shall see.. Having Money in the Bank = Expensive, Being terrified of Asuka = Priceless Carmella has such amazing reactions. Twenty-first eliminated

Natalya: This lovely Canadian wrestler has my Hart. Ooh, bad puns. Love them. Natalya I am very familiar with and have seen wrestle. She is so talented in the ring. Her turning on Beth was everything though. THE SHADE OF IT ALL. Natalya was the twenty-five to be eliminated but damn did she give it her all. 

Kelly Kelly: I wish I could describe perfectly what my face looks like right now. Mostly it’s disdain. I have seen Kelly Kelly matches but never one I would want to watch again. She is not a strong wrestler at all. She is better as a model. Oh my god this is a train wreck. Sixteenth is Kelly and everything is right with the world again. 

Naomi: Yes, one of my favorites whose ready to glow! I’m excited to see how she’ll do in the match. Naomi vs. Nia was beautiful to watch. They’re on par with each other. Eighteenth to go but forever my winner! 

Jacqueline: I’m so surprised to see her here! She’s a fantastic wrestler and I’m most familiar with her work at Impact Wrestling. This should be fun. Jackie is the fifteenth to go. Seriously? Why bring them back if you are just going to eliminate them immediately. It’s not really showcasing their talent. 

Nia Jax: Now it’s getting good! Nia Jax is such a skilled wrestler it’s not even fair. She can also sell moves really well. I would love to see her and Ember or Naomi wrestle again. Nia taking all the girls at once is breathtaking! You show em’ Nia! Nia is the twenty-three woman to be eliminated. She’s coming for all of you later just you wait.  

Ember Moon: Speaking of really good wrestlers! Ember Moon is one of the newest editions to NXT and now the main roster and wow, she’s spectacular. She is one lady that won’t be pushed around. Ember is the twentieth to be eliminated. She did well with one good arm. 

Beth Phoenix: Oh my gosh! The Phoenix has risen from the ashes! Hope her family is doing well. Glad to see her back. Beth teaming up with Natalya was too cute. Beth is the seventeenth to go. Heartbreaking really.  

Asuka: Another person whose risen to the top and is majorly talented! Everything about her is so original and insane. Love it! AND THE WINNER IS..  Asuka!! Well deserved too! 

Mickie James: One of the top female wrestlers and one of my all time favorites Mickie James is phenomenal in everything she does. From WWE to Impact Wrestling. Her outfit is so country and cute. Twenty-two to be eliminated but how iconic that it was because of Trish.  

Nikki Bella: Not a big fan of the Bella’s myself. I am always scared when she’s wrestling because of a wardrobe malfunction. Twenty-ninth eliminated and what a match between her and Asuka! 

Brie Bella: Again, not my favorite. We’ll see how it goes. Brie was backstabbed by Nikki. We see who the evil twin is now. Twenty-eight eliminated. 

Bayley: I really like Bayley, her character is unique and sunny. I hope they keep her as a face from now on. NO! Bayley is the twenty-four to go and I call fluke. 

Trish Stratus: How do you come for Natalya’s outfit like that?! But with all jokes aside, Trish has made milestones for women’s wrestling and of course she’d be here. Seeing Trish take both Bella twins down by herself was satisfying. Twenty-sixth eliminated because she thought she was so slick.

Other example: Polka from Eternal Sonata had her healing powers because she was dying/going to die.) (Summary: Maybe Max has Rachel's powers instead of being Rachel? She gave Max her powers because they're a lot alike and she wanted her to help Chloe and avenge her?)
