Hey guys!! I haven’t posted anything for a good bit, I’ve fallen out of Interest with tumblr as of late. Been on this platform since 2013ish on my main account so it was bound to happen at somepoint haha

Anyways, just wanted say you guys are awesome and wish everyone luck! Very thankful for those who have followed this blog, never thought I would get any when I started it <3 felt wrong to vanish w/out update

Name gives it away but they were one of those map mobs you couldn’t help but adore in factions. I was in emotional overload at the trailer lol

If your a fan of these guys you should take a look at the canthan phoenix. The imperial juvenile version was tamable by rangers!!

Kuunavang is a Saltspray dragon hailing from the Jade sea area of Cantha. In Guild Wars: Factions she played a role in defeating Shiro Tagachi after being cured of her corruption during Unwaking Waters by canthan heroes. She is one of the last known uncorrupted Saltsprays aside from Albax. An ancient and mysterious force, she has the ability to grant power to those she deems worthy.

Saltsprays are interesting draconic creatures, more akin to a drake than elemental. Notable individuals like Albax are known for their ability of good fortune. In Albax’s case he had cursed a human with bad luck until his scale was returned to him. Theories can be made of the species pre-Jade Wind but I hope they are explored in EoD!

Yet only I remain, the sole living incarnation of good fortune in all the land, and I will not harm you. I thank you for the return of this scale. Your courage inspires even my ancient heart. Good catch! It does resemble her and could show she will have a main role for the expack.

The connotations of water/dragons/ the cycle continues sparks sooo many theories.

Having the ability to say Cantha confirmed with confidence is an amazing feeling. Thank you so much for bringing the place many players have dreamed of visiting back! With a beautiful trailer to boot 

I am stoked to see how Cantha is brought to us from creatures and story to environment designs. I could talk about factions content for hours haha<3

IDK bout you but Jormag is a great gift giver!

Rather than killing him we now have a poetically justice served bangar to jeer at anytime we want. He tried to chain a dragon out of his own ego and become the one chained in turn.

I’ve been talking about it in various places and with the new trailer out and the episode coming I think it’s the right moment to make this public! Welcome to the Icebrood Party, a in game Jormag themed event (NA only for now) WHAT’S THIS PARTY? It’s just a little event to see how many followers our beloved Jormag has around the globe. It’s just a little meeting to talk together, make friends and take a lot of screenshots! 

I ADORE JORMAG TOO BUT I DON’T HAVE A PROPER CHARACTER IN GAME…CAN I JOIN YOU? Of course you can! I already bought a bunch of tonics I’ll send you if needed to turn you all into icebroods with Jormag’s blessing.

WHEN IS IT? Saturday 25th of July at 10 PM CEST 3 PM CENTRAL 1 PM PACIFIC Atm the event is NA only but I’ll probably do a EU version too one day. 

WHERE IS THE MEETING? We’ll meet in Hoelbrak, The Great Lodge, just in front of Jormag’s Teeth! We’ll stay there for a while, and then we’ll move in various places to take some pretty screenshots or start some mayhem in Tyria >:D

Ok, seconding the Shiro up here! New dialogue with revenants or some references to him in the open areas would be lovely. If Raisu palace is still a thing this would be a great place for it

I hope Luxons and Kurzicks are still around in some way, it’s not Cantha without that culture detail

Biggest want? Kuunavang, she is awesome and I am so interested in seeing how they progress her lore with the way dragons have evolved in Gw2

it’s a slow day for me and i want to interact with the community more sooo

Had a throwback today when I found one of my old art journals, specifically this 2014 era sketch of my charr ele. She’s one of my original girls from launch, used to wear full archon and everything then hah.
