It's been awhile o_o. I'm hiding from the world because of my shortcomings. I refuse to get on Facebook and I refuse to call people. I think I'm crazy, but I'm pretty happy.

Mellothinks Music: Shingeki no Kyojin OST

Well...there's something about Attack on Titan's music that I absolutely love. (I don't really care for the 1st OP though). But damn. The bells, the chorus...it all sounds so good together. I haven't heard such good music since...Yoko Kanno and Yuki Kajiura...well and of course, Nobuo Uematsu...and Koji Kondo...and Joe Hisaishi. Why are all of my favorite composers Japanese?

Went to a lecture tonight. Saw Marian Bantjes & Stefan Sagmeister. Seeing them both in real life was...interesting. I can't believe Bantjes is 50. She looks SO YOUNG. So lucky. Anyway....Sagmeister is hilarious. Hearing him talk about the Happiness Project was probably one of the high points of the night. He's witty and an incredible thinker. Sadly, I saw his talk on TED already like he mentioned during the "Ode to Joy". Nonetheless, he's fucking Sagmeister. He doesn't need to give a crap haha. So one point he made to be "Happy" was to write down three things that went well during your day. So these are the three that came to mind.

It obviously needs more work. I could probably work over it again if i felt like it......but....I guess since I really don't have a clue about what to draw, I thought I'd be vain and do a self portrait. :P. I can't tell what look this figure has.....so I guess I'll call it "Uncertainty" for now. I wish my lines were cleaner. I'm excited to see how my style will evolve if i keep this up.

Hello world. This blog came out of a realization that I actually suck at drawing. And honestly, I want to get better. And I graduated from design school....but its funny, I actually did less drawing in the program and lost touch with it. I hope I keep this up...
