Imperfection - The Process 03 🎥 . . It was time to take this back to Photoshop to make some adjustments and add the message. I made some color adjustments with layer masking and added a gradient background. The final poster has some graininess applied to the background and a smoke cloud ☁️ behind the lettering to add a bit more depth. . . I find the contradiction in this message hopeful. Learning about #branding in @adobespark app, using an image of my latest illustration sticker with @stickermule, of Joy the Elephant, @houstonzoo's mischievous baby elephant, in honor of her first birthday month'! Happy Belated Birthday Joy! I'm just learning and playing adding brand fonts, color palettes and my logo. I download my proof image from #stickermule; but because it's a transparent image, the default background came up as black in Instagram; so I decided to explore #adobespark. Went to a lecture tonight. Saw Marian Bantjes & Stefan Sagmeister. Seeing them both in real life was...interesting. I can't believe Bantjes is 50. She looks SO YOUNG. So lucky. Anyway....Sagmeister is hilarious. Hearing him talk about the Happiness Project was probably one of the high points of the night. He's witty and an incredible thinker. Sadly, I saw his talk on TED already like he mentioned during the "Ode to Joy". Nonetheless, he's fucking Sagmeister. He doesn't need to give a crap haha. So one point he made to be "Happy" was to write down three things that went well during your day. So these are the three that came to mind.
