Call me dumb, call me naive, but there's nothing you can say that will convince me otherwise.

We all know that infamous cutscene of the traveler running with what looks like a destroyed Khaenri'ah, red skies and ruined land with The Heavenly Principals insidious cubes raking havoc across the land.

Everyone says that it looks similar to Mondstadt. And they theorize that Mondstadt was built above the ruins of Khaenri'ah. I even heard that Mondstadt was Khaenri'ah because of how similar their architectural styles and placement were.

This has never, and will never, make sense to me. Firstly, it's been shown and confirmed that Khaenri'ah was under Sumeru. We've seen the doorway to it. Secondly, Khaenri'ah was destroyed 500 years ago. Destroyed by the 7 archons and Celestia, after the archon war. Therefore, Mondstadt was already placed and established during the reign of Khaen. How can Mondstadt be built on top of Khaenri'ah if it already existed?

"Maybe they moved locations-" I cite my sources to the 2020 genshin impact comic on Webtoon where it clearly shows Mondstadt in its current day location. It follows the story of Vanessa and dips a little bit into her lore. Vanessa ascended to Celestia a 1,000 years ago. So current day Mondstadt still resides in its place even after the events of Khaenri'ah 500 years ago.

I don't think that cutscene was Khaenri'ah even though so many people claim it is. It's too similar to Mondstadt. No, I firmly believe, I mean heavily believe, I MEAN I will develop a religion based on this belief; That was foreshadowing the destruction of Mondstadt.

Celestia is going to destroy Mondstadt. We all know Venti- Barbatos- Is really important to genshin lore. He even says he's "being watched" by someone that we can only assume is Celestia.

He's the god of freedom, holding the Queen chess piece, shown to be one of the strongest, if not then THE strongest, archon. Rather that's with physical power or will power. He's a mysterious and secretive person who says just enough to get by without suspicion. He has skeletons in his closet and we've seen that hinted with the upside down statue, a blatant disrespect to his name.

Mondstadt has "The Gateway to Celestia" etched across the Barbatos statue, which is a mystery all by itself. All the other nations have has a Chapter and different Acts. We have yet to have that with Mondstadt. We only have seen a Prologue for that nation.

There's more to its story, and I believe the next time we go back to Mondstadt it's going to be a full circle. We started in Mond, now we're going to end in Mond. That end is going to be that cut scene with the red skies and ruined land.

Sorry for the wait! Life happened! Here are a few headcanons for you, hon!

You are almost certainly taller than him. This man is like 5’1. That’s not hard to beat.

He isn’t one of those short guys with a complex about being short tho, he doesn’t care at all and is super chill about it

Super strong tho, can easily pick you up

At home, he loves resting his head on your lap or sitting on it as you both read books and chill

He’s not super into PDA, he tries his best to keep his reputation when he’s not hanging out with friends plus he’s not naturally the most touchy-feely guy. 

He’ll do small stuff, like holding your pinkies together or sitting close to you when at a restaurant. 

Mostly keeps your relationship on the down-low, most people don’t know that the General Mahamatra is dating. Just really close friends like Tighnari, Kaveh, Al Haitham, Collei, etc. 

Tries his best to teach you TCG. He wants to share his hyperfixation with you so he helps you build a really great deck and teaches you all the best strategies. 

Writes you really detailed letters when he is on missions or public meetings on behalf of Sumeru. His handwriting is not the best, but the letters are super detailed and long, explaining everything in vivid detail to tell you what it’s like

Monthly (if not weekly) dinners in Gandarvaville with Tighnari and Collei. 

This man is not the best cook. He can cook for himself but he’s used to living on the road with only what he has on his back so his food is bland at best.

He is great at cleaning though. He is very particular about everything having a place but won’t get on your ass about it. Will just pick it up and put it away. 

In the early mornings, he loves waking up with you next to him. He’ll just lay there comfortably and snuggle close

I am sick and tired of seeing shit takes from people about how characters like Sawako (Kimi ni Todoke) and Miyo (My Happy Marriage) are "unfeminist" because they're shy and soft-spoken. When Miyo is literally that way as a SURVIVAL TACTIC because SHE WAS FUCKING ABUSED And Sawako is showed to have social anxiety and the other kids are shown to kind of bully her. But both girls gain confidence and strength as both series progress. NOT ALL WOMEN HAVE TO BE STONE COLD BADASSES TO BE STRONG!!! Geez…

Random Dot analysis:

The interesting thing about Dottore is that while the most popular fanon about him is that his underlings fear him, canonically it's the complete opposite.

He deadass has an army of simps working for him, I had never ran into a Fatui NPC that has expressed fear about him, and instead they speak about him in reverence.

The most obvious one is during the AQ where a fatui agent expressed disappointment upon realising that Dottore would be leaving Sumeru soon, saying that he had only seen the lord once.

And it seems that Dottore actually talks to his subordinates often, especially when in the same conversation, the agents (who didn't know about the segment's existence thus not realising that they spoke to different versions of the Doctor) casually compared how their conversations went, one said that Dottore was dismissive while the other said he was all smiles.

The people who work for him are ridiculously dedicated, the fungi event with that one guy who for some reason - thought that a device that controls fungi would impress Dottore, he did all that to earn his recognition. (It would have been more impressive if the device controlled literally ANYTHING besides fungi, but eh whatever) Note: The guy has said in CN expressively something along the lines of "beloved/dear" lord, not the direct translation but it was affectionate.

Then there's that one dude who stayed behind after the (failed) aranara lure experiments, I don't remember much about him but I don't think he said anything bad about Dottore, other than saying that he had stayed behind because he felt responsibility to take care of the kids after subjecting them into a mission like that.

Cut to the two Fatui peeps on Mondstadt who gush about him after the Sumeru quest, and I'm pretty sure we met another fatui dude in the desert who decided to go against orders and go the extra mile of attempting to kidnap desert dwellers to present as test subjects to again - impress Dottore. I think this was a Jeht quest?

Oh, and in the manwha, it's briefly mentioned that Dottore does reward efforts handsomely.

Tldr:

Fanon - Dottore is cruel, he terrifies everyone who works under him and they always walk around eggshells with him.

Canon: Dottore gives high reward for efforts, he has too many simps that sings him praises and they're literally scrambling to be in the same room as him.

Conclusion, we need more dottore simps in fan content. Because not only is it more accurate, but its also funnier for Dottore to be followed by a hoard of fans.

ALRIGHT YOU HAVE ME THERE... I went back and reread the dialogue for the agents for when Dottore was leaving and phew you're right, lol now that i realize it's pretty entertaining!!

But now i have questions. How many agents know that Dottore has segments? The ones that do know, are they not allowed to spread this...? I'd think the news would be all over the recruits but I guess not. And I guess these segments are ridiculously similar physically/appearance wise too. 😭 And the ones that don't know, do they just think their Harbinger has multiple different personalities or something?? I need more NPCs talking about Dottore.

ELCHIGEN. THE FUNGI NPC GUY WAS SO FUNNY. I still have screenshots of when he spoke about Dottore omg, bro was DEDICATED. Literally created a whole scheme and put his life on the line just to get Dottore to notice him... i respect the energy tbh. I do wonder why he loved Dottore so much in the first place, i really think there's a lot more to his character than we've seen firsthand. I also went back and reread the other stuff you mentioned on the wiki and omg 😭😭 i cant believe i forgot this stuff happened, it's been so long since Sumeru 😭 it's so funny to think about how they're piling more crimes on themselves just for Dottore 😭 i wonder if he's aware of how favorable these agents view him?

Though I do think it may differ from segment to segment. Krupp was pretty scared of Webttore. It's also kind of funny to think people were more scared of Scaramouche than Dottore. 💀

When he finds out your pregnant, he goes through the 5 stages of grief and happiness simultaneously

Once he’s able to collect himself, you’ll have to calmly have a conversation to him about his…behavior, to say the least.

It basically boils down to “don’t do anything that’ll get you, or our child, arrested”

And he’s honestly offended that you think he would do that with a child, HIS child.

But you’re proven right once the child is born

This man is mostly a bad influence, I’m sorry but it’s true

He would encourage rowdy behavior behind your back to y’all’s child

Like when you’re glaring at him he’s all “Now, we don’t do that! That’s bad!” Then when you turn back around he just whispers “You gotta do it more like this”

Has definitely gotten themselves into trouble by dragging your poor child along to trespass to get Onikabuto beetles

Probably has had child endangerment cases filed on you both because of him that Heizou has had to take care of for you

Despite his more uh- influential parenting practices, he’s also a great father

Will teach your child about their Oni blood and to take pride in it. If Itto could teach your child one thing, it’s to always accept yourself and other people. And to also come up with creative insults when someone tries to discriminate you.

He’s incredibly accepting of them, and proud of them no matter what they do, and will support them no matter what. He’s caring and loving, towards the both of you

Overall, he would be an amazing father. Just don’t count on him to be alone with them for more than an hour.

Pantalone

He wont show it, but when you told him that you were pregnant, he was horrified all the while keeping that smile on his face

The only reason why he was horrified was because for the first time in a long time, he didn’t know what to do

He’s a ruthless business man that’s willing to do anything to be on top, and he’s going to be father. That kind of personality is not something a father should possess

He pity’s his soon-to-be child because of the world he is about to be born into. The world of violence and favoritism from the Gods that he just knows his child wont get.

Although, he is grateful that his child won’t have to face the problem of poverty like Pantalone had to. He will make sure they have everything that they want, need, and more.

This man is a powerhouse of raw ambition, and one of his ambitions is keeping his family safe

Much like the culture of Snezhnaya, he is a family man. Yet being number 9 of the Fatui Harbingers doesn’t call for him to be…nice.

That is not something he wants his family to be around, especially when it comes to you and your child.

He will do everything in his efforts to keep you both separated from the Fatui. That includes excluding the child from becoming part of the Adventurers Guild. He doesn’t want to risk it.

He’s a bit protective over you, especially when you’re pregnant, and ESPECIALLY when the child is born. The closest he’ll ever have the Fatui near you is when he has assigned agents to follow you both when you leave the house.

Meaning someone is watching you 24/7. He’s only a LITTLE BIT protective, right?

To make up for his rather excessive protectiveness, he spoils the ever loving shit out of you both. He’ll buy you the most luxurious clothes and buy your child the most boisterous of toys.

He’ll only ever show affection to any of you in the comfort of your own home. After all, he doesn’t want the other Harbingers to know his weak spot.

Xiao

He’s internally freaking out. He doesn’t know what to do. He can’t even handle himself and you expect him to handle a child? His child?

When he heard the news he most definitely disappeared for a week or two. He just needed time to process.

He even went to Zhongli to ask for advice. All the former Geo Archon said was “You love her, you’ll love your child, it’ll come naturally to you.”

He’s not one to question Zhongli’s words, but that definitely made him mentally scoff a little bit. It wasn’t exactly what he was looking for, but that statement still had a weight to it.

When the time came, what Zhongli said made sense

Don’t get me wrong, it took a lot of adjustment and a lot of learning, but all those years of protecting Liyue sure did come in handy for this.

It taught him to be protective, but not overly so. He was still uneasy about it, but he showed affection whenever he felt like he needed to. He provided them and you with whatever you needed.

He was still weary though. He knew the dangers that lurked within the world of Teyvat. So as the child grew older, he taught them the basics of self-defense. And if they wished to learn more, Xiao would be more than happy to show them the ropes.

He would tell them stories about the Adepti, and about his fellow Yakshas. He’d educate them on the history of Liyue and about the great battles in the Archon War. And will definitely tell them about the great Rex Lapis.

Although he’ll leave the comforting and affection to you mostly, he won’t hesitate to give advice and support y’all’s child with whatever choice they make.

I honestly think that deposit his lack of affection and unavoidable bluntness, he would be one of the best dads out there
