Hey!! Ik that your last transfem dipper related post was from a while ago idek if it’s still relevant to you or whatever.. BUT do you think that she would still go by dipper or choose a different name? I personally headcannon that she goes by Dot :3 (it was suggested to her by Mable while she was going through random girly names that start with the letter d and when dipper or dot in this case liked dot Mable was like “srsly? DOT?”) SORRY IM YAPPING SO MUCH IM RLLY HYPERFIXATED ON THIS HEADCANNON RAAH

My last post was a while ago MOSTLY cuz of school (I still think about her a lot as evidenced by my ongoing comic LMFAO) but I've thought about this before. first off, I THINK DOT IS SUCH A CUTE NAME!!!! 🥹 that's sooo cute. easiest dunk ever for Mabel. "uh yeah ur name WOULD be dot, shorty. ALPHA TWIN! ALPHA TWIN!"

[TALKING ABT CANON DIPPER HERE NOT TRANSFEM] I think there's something to the fact that Dipper canonically doesn't like his birth name (as evidenced by journal 3 where he says it's because he thinks it's...dumb...? lol? 🤔 so he keeps it a secret? lol???) that he actively goes out of his way to use what is a more androgynous name even if it's in reference to something he's embarrassed about (his birthmark!) so... PRETTY interesting, if u ask me.

So for transfem dipper, it just makes sense to me that she would like the name dipper BECAUSE it's not her birth name. like. it feels more like her. (even if she doesn't understand at the time why she prefers it) (egg). So. YEAH. she keeps the name dipper.

she would change her birth name to Maisie, though. but I think she still likes going by dipper :)
