Im shamelessly re-reading all of Animorphs because my mental health is low, so here are sketches of my favourite gang!! I dont know if these are book accurate (especially eye colour), and are likely to be not 90s-accurate either, but idk i had fun!

i really didnt plan out how to fit them all on two pages (why did I draw Jake on an ANGLE?), so apologies for Cassie in the corner (she’s my fave and i left her for last because i was scared to not do her justice).

Ax’s human morph has little things from everyone (except Tobias ofc), mainly Jake’s face shape and hair texture, Rachel’s eye colour, Marco’s skin colour and eye shape, and Cassie’s hair colour and nose shape (i changed his hair to match after taking pics)

Gave some of the kids acne, because they’re pre-teens, and Marco a mullet because why the hell not. I cannot draw a hawk, thus human Tobias

getting people into animorphs is so hard. yes its a fantastic series that can change you fundamentally if read as a kid and maybe also as an adult. yes its ~60 books that are ultimately shortish kids books written in the 90s. no i cannot make that more palatable. yes i still think you should read a few

My Liss Rymore is based off Katie Leung or at least TRIED I think I got 40% of her face can you see her? No? Then eat cake cuz I tried and everyone loves cake. also tarot cards suck well I suck at drawing them SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

*DYING WHALE NOISES* I WILL HAVE YOU ALL KNOW THIS TOOK FOREVER. A MONTH FOREVER because I was getting distracted with watching vines and going on Youtube and watching all 3 series of Sherlock but ultimately this is my greatest pride and joy. This was my first time actually drawing buildings, so for those who are structurally acute, forgive my horrid attempt at walls. The lighting was supposed to be a sunset-y and soft kinda thing. I think I got half of how I expected it to look.  And Paige. You were a bitch to draw DAMN YOU FOR BEING SO PALE so I made you more tanned and lively than looking like you had arisen from the grave. Location uuuuuuuuuuh think of her at Seven Dials somewhere chillin’. I dunno, Jaxon’s ballin’, he’d probably have another place somewhere in Seven Dials where Paige and the others can sneak off and relax but is too cheap to really keep maintenance cuz srsly he’s a motherfuckin’ mime-lord, he got other shit to do. *Also the sign says The Chaunting Bird I made it myself, it’s like a brothel/information trove coffeeshop classy I know right? And whoop whoop for double meaning shop name; chaunting is Victorian slang for singing, also informing and bird is for woman and birds fly things around and then check out my double sign right right? right so appreciate my made-up coffeehouse/brothel information place.*

I over-exaggerated the lighting coming off the cigar but I thought Jaxon looked cooler like that and more badass. And also wanted to put up a really nice picture of Jaxon. Because he deserves it.
