OA:Föd3
Who says you can’t discuss religion or politics over dinner?
[BUILDING KNOWLEDGE AROUND INTENSIVE, REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE AND ADAPTIVE MANAGEMENT REQUIRES OBSERVATION, ANALYSIS AND COMMUNICATION THAT IS BEYOND THE CAPACITY OF ANY INDIVIDUAL FARMER TO PRODUCE A LIFE BUT IT CAN BE ACCESSED RAPIDLY THROUGH TECH-FACILITATED COLLABORATION.]
OA:Föd3 is a platform allowing open access intended against alienation and polarisation between many worlds.  A data sharing process that connects and delivers agricultural data and food culture within an accessible reach. RETROGRESSION
The Thermohaline circulation is shutting down. With the rise in global warming, these movements of the ocean would be gone for good. Surface warming and surface freshening, both reducing the density of high latitude surface waters & deep water formation. We are falling back in time, travelling back to the pre-industrial lives where individuals are yet to be aware of the effects of Radium in their bodies. We are coming to the 4th industrial revolution which an era of accelerated technological progress characterized by new innovations whose rapid application and diffusion cause an abrupt change in society.

Luminous-z : Weaving for all generations
Opening new possibilities of bamboo weaving’s potential, where the two different worlds : Traditional weaving community and Gen-Z are connected to embrace Bangkok’s history of the weaving culture. The project is located in Rommaninat park, a place where weaving has been significantly performed throughout the history of Thailand. Together with locals of the park’s community and prisoners of Dan9 engaging with bamboo weaving in various aspects, the site executes a rich weaving history which is waiting to be told. With a reducing rate of weaving rituals and the declining act of bamboo usage, we aim to provide new interpretations of bamboo weaving that fit the preferences of today’s generation. Envisioning a space where users are able to engage with weaving patterns and embracing the bamboo’s potential throughout the process.

Botanical Warehouse
Welcome to Bunsiri , a small neighbourhood located near the river Chao Phraya.
This place used to be one of the most bustling place in Thailand to trade and perform commercial rituals, where they would trade various objects from China and Indians, using these warehouses (where they would refer to as the white house because of its colour) as the main storage center at the time, nowadays, as time passes by, the rituals of trade has declined through developments of other places and the lack of necessity of the business . The Bunsiri community has adapted to this change, where the community now serve as a place of processing and storing herbs for local companies, using this warehouse, once again, as the central building to perform this ritual.
As time passes through this community, we can see that these particular warehouses,  no matter how much time has passed, they still remain as the heart of Bunsiri.

Much more than a warehouse.
By envisioning future scenarios based on depictions of pattern that has changed through time, a single warehouse, contains endless possibilities of development in relation to human adaptation and their preferences. The supposed function of what a warehouse should hold in a definite term being “a large building where raw materials or manufactured goods may be stored before their export or distribution for sale.” here, I am questioning this current condition nowadays. A “warehouse”, for the Bunsiri workers in the community, means immensely much more than just a storage place. It is considered more or less as a “home” where generations of people have been engaged within the warehouse as their residential, co-working, “playing” spaces of their own, leading to an ideology of a warehouse being  “much more than a warehouse.”

PHASE 2 : BUNSIRI VERSUS TIME
The concept of a matter versus time that is meant as changes, consequences of something, a matter that has been effected within a notion of time. Adaptation, for example, is a process of change in which a matter becomes better suited for the environment.
But how, exactly, does this perception of “time” can effect a place, a space, or a small fragment of experience?

PHASE 3 : ENDERMICHOMES
“Chinatownisation”
What is your first impression on seeing this project?  Red and gold, vibrant, lanterns, lights, many small objects etc.  This might remind you of a specific country, a place, a situation that you have experienced…   And that is because of “Memories”.  An individual’s memory , your brain identifies something according to what you have faced.

PHASE 2 : DOMESTIC DEVICE
How to build a Chinatown.
Chinatown exists all around the world, and to a certain audience, it could be recognized instantly at the first glance. What makes Chinatown “Chinatown”? To which extent does rituals and ornamentation in this case play the role of identification of one’s culture? The “Chinatown effect”, no matter where you are, can be related to personal experiences and familiarity of a person that percieve the place. Thus an idea of “How to build a Chinatown” is questioned and explored in this phase.

PHASE 1 : CONTEXTUAL STUDIES
Peranakan : Culture in decline
The Peranakans are a small community that has migrated from China to settle in Southeast Asia, they have adopted the term “Peranakan” to distinguish themselves from the new immigrants, and currently, they are the culture in decline. They live in shophouses that are made in a simple, mass produced format. What I find interesting in this case is how they decorated these shophouses with distinguished patterns and style to make it their own, as a statement whenever we see this style, it shouts:  We are the Peranakans.
