living for the thought of pudding unwilling being thrown in the loop of all sorts of gossip like, she can't escape it and she will say "i don't want to hear about it" then she'll randomly meet someone and has to pretend like she hasn't already heard about it

pudding's never been too much of a giver. mother had taught her a lot about it - pretend to open up, be honest and vulnerable, let the other person believe you'd bleed dry for them when really it's just all empty promises. now being a taker, that's what she's good at. unsuspecting men and their overflowing gifts to buy her affection most of all; take their time, all the space in their minds, their hearts, their treasures and anything remotely of prize or necessity to her. pudding also likes to think that this journey of self discovery she's been forced to take is doing such wonders that sometimes she does feel inclined to be open and raw despite the ugliness uncomfortable feeling creeping at the back of her mind. "well, that's a little reductive," she's still buttoning the lower part of the shirt kindly offered while her clothes are drying outside, a small grin playing on her lips as she ponders how much to push the navigator's buttons before niceties comes to an end. "even your so much can mean a lot to someone else." not that she wants to get on her case specifically, but since reputation precedes the redhead, it doesn't come as a surprise that there is a sort of temporary understanding that seems to lead to some common ground despite their not so good history. "it seems you lot have made yourself the symbol of that in a way." ... what a bunch of losers with hearts of gold.

your heart at the moment desires to run. it's haunting, chasing you, booming louder. sometimes it's distant enough that you can handle ignoring it, but now, it's so loud. maybe you've tried to face it before, even fight it. you may have failed, or possibly succeeded, but you spared its life, and now it has returned. maybe you never fought it, and simply kept running. and now more than ever, this feels like your last resort. your mind is telling you that you need to run, to run, to run, faster and faster, to lose sight of this. to shake it, because you couldn't shake it before. but is that the right solution? will it really solve anything?

lola gifted pudding her first baking set. since she was a beginner it was pretty basic, but pudding made good use of it while learning new recipes whenever lola had time to teach her. eventually pudding got a new one since her skillset required something with more variety, but she still has everything in a box and it's a very cherished trinket ( along with the good childhood memories )
