I do want to mention that I love old men yaoi of Hanzo and Juu. (Hanzo and Juu are secretly gay and in love)

Hmmmm I haven't though of Hanzo quite as much since I didn't take as much of a focus on writing him, but I'll try!!

Sexuality Headcanon: Either bi or aroace. Really no in between. i think he could be comphet aroace and then just be a lot happier with his single dad slay lifestyle. like, i imagine his wife was somewhat of a gold digger and more negligent with kisaragi

A ship I have with said character: n/a, though him and Juu WOULD be really funny. I think he would kick Juu's ass cus Hanzo is a good parent and Juu sucks and is awful, but maybe. Ok i'm thinking here. Maybe Hanzo could have the same unconditional forgiveness grind that he ends up passing into Mikako (and somewhat Yamato) so he decides that he can fix this man. Untoxic yaoi? Hanzo fixes Juu, belatedly? Single dad who had wives they didn't love solidarity? Teaching him how to be a good parent????/ /j Maybe this is just the midnight crack getting to me, but thinking...

A random headcanon: His entire lineage dating back, like, at LEAST 150 years has the same Jojo-character-esque charisma and loud flair. Yamato had his as a kid being a little gangster, yet grew out of it because of mikako. Hanzo was an only child, so he was chaotic up through his teenage years until he was forced to start handling the Kisaragi foundation and belatedly taught responsibility. Yusaku (his dad) was a somewhat hands-off parent who was a bit negligent at times, so Hanzo resolved to be better for his kids. This is also why he adopted Mikako and made sure to straighten Yamato's rebellion out early while also not killing his spirit

General Opinion over said character: We dunno much about him, but I think he would be a cool dad! I have lots of family headcanons for the DRA cast (hehehe people should ask me about them...) but Hanzo rates pretty well in terms of parent quality. He was pretty busy and distracted because of his responsibilities with the foundation, also a bit lenient with the kids, but firm when it came down to it. He grew up disconnected because of generational wealth, as is a pattern in that family, but having a kid and rescuing Mikako grounded him and he grew a lot of humility because of that. I think when the awful event in human history first happened, his sense of justice caused him to get a little too involved with that, which made him a target and an unknown clash lead to his death.
