Auckland seems to have the best of both worlds - It’s bustling city and glorious landscapes. What are some of your favourite places to explore that you’d recommend to new visitors to the city and surrounding area?
Yup! Auckland is a very unique city with awesome beaches and islands just a matter of minutes drive time from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Reasonably small in size, Auckland punches above it’s weight in many aspects. Visitors to the area should definitely check out the West Coast beaches in particular Piha which is a very moody and picturesque place… A city of many gems to behold for all creative photography!
Who inspires you the most to do what you do, and why?
Many photographers inspire me but two in particular. One of which is 13thwitness and his gritty street style & powerful portraiture. The other is ravivora and his cinematic landscapes built with beautiful color tones. Very different in style but both prove to create masterpiece photography!
