unpopular opinion that’s not so unpopular

i find it stupid that people write smut about underage characters and say they’re “aged up”, and then say its 18+ like??

i just never understood why people write smut about underage characters and claim to age them up as if it doesn’t make things any weirder just to say its 18+ like you’re literally like 20+ and writing about teenage cartoon characters in a mature way and say they’re aged up like do you not understand how dumb that is?

like maybe don’t write smut about characters that are canonically minors and not expect other minors to read it.

imo i find it very weird and contradicting to write smut about minor characters alone. but to say that they’re “aged up” and targeted for the +18 as if you aren’t writing about a “minor”

ik i sound like a broken record and ik i might be reading too much into it but this is just one of those things that grinds my gears 😭 but thanks for listening to my ted talk

The amount of people sexualizing MINORS in this app is embarrassing!... "B-but they are not real " Y'all are still ssexualizing MINORS !!! CHILDREN !! And then you see this " they are aged up " honey...you are still sexualizing a minor.... You saying that won't change anything , the amount of smut fanfics about minors here is insane... Like do you have to sexualize them ☹️ ?? Is something bad gonna happen to you if you don't ??

And this is not just in twisted wonderland it's litterly in every fandom

And it's not just sexualizing minors oh no a lot of other stuff too

Is it hard for you guys to not :

- sexualize characters under 17

- say that ' black washing ' is a real thing

- ship actual siblings

- head canon a character self h@rm!ng themselves

- talk about really sensitive topics without warning
