A few off the top of my head: Eliza, Lizzy, Beth, Lizzard, Abby, Zabeth
How many nicknames derived from Elizabeth do you know?
Fun fact: Elizabeth was one of the top names back in 1993. Also a fun fact: This 3D wire mandala toy was also very popular during that time period as well.
I make my own iterations called Lotus Blooms, and you can explore my work along with all my dozens of styles and wire colour combination options. :)

In addition to my handmade and visually delightful Mandala Bloom wire contraptions, I'd like to share with you a list of Palindromes I've recently come across! :)
A man, a plan, a canal, Panama! Eva, can I see bees in a cave? Was it a car or a cat I saw? Never odd or even. Do geese see God? A Santa lived as a devil at NASA.
All of these, when read backwards spells out the same sentence! My all time favourite Palindrome is "TACO CAT"
Palindromes also apply to single words:
Level Rotor Racecar Stats
Am I missing any? Comment below your favourite Palindromes, as I'm certain there are more out there I haven't heard of!
Also, please consider browsing my handmade Lotus Bloom fidget toys & ornament shop. :) These make wonderful gifts or ornaments this holiday season. Sharing & reblogging would help me so much as an indie artist. <3 Thank you! Use code TUMBLR (for 45% off), and so I know to include a FREE Lithograph sticker with your order. :)

This post is specifically for my fans in the UK! Don't think I haven't noticed that 19% of my Etsy Shop sales lately have come from the United Kingdom! You all are so amazingly awesome, and I truly mean it. One thing I wanted to address was the absurdly high Etsy shipping cost from Canada to our own modern commonwealth country. I've been exploring ways to reduce the cost of shipping, because I know many of you really want to get your hands on my handmade fidgets and bracelets.
**my apologies, I mean Pounds, not Euros. Tumblr won't let me change the poll...
Good news! This week I am testing shipping to the UK for 8 pounds which is approximately $14.47 CAD. For perspective, this used to be $27.12 CAD (15 pounds). Visit my Etsy Shop (www.merakisphere.etsy.com) and browse all my handmade wire mandala toys and accessories. :)

Are my prices fair? As an artist, it's always difficult to strike that balance between what people value your art as versus what you value it as. These used to be triple the price, but I've managed to bring the cost down A LOT by: a. getting faster at making them, b. finding better material suppliers, and c. pin pointing my niche and sticking to it.

Orbi Loops has always been a small project of mine tucked away in the corner of my Etsy shop where nobody browses, but lately l've seen reviews come in saying, "This is the best fidget tool I have ever used!", and "Tickles my brain like no other stim has before!"
Got me thinking, hmm maybe people actually do enjoy it...
Long story short, I was trying to find ways to use up the thousands of extra beads I have from my Fidget Bloom fidget bracelets. I reflected deeply on what I love about sensory toys and determined that they are: satisfying audible sound, tactile/haptic, and very importantly, continuous motion.
I developed Orbi-Loops as kind of like a rattle toy for teens and adults. We all played with some form of rattle toys when we were infants, why stop?
If you like fidget toys, or use stim tools in your everyday life, I encourage you to check out my handmade Orbi-Loops and browse the hundreds of reviews I received from people who've shared their experience. If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask. :)

A customer shared this image telling me how much she absolutely loves her new Meraki Sphere! It's not often that customers share images of themselves wearing my handmade wire mandalas, but when they do it looks freakin' stellar!

Here's a Fun Fact, did you know this!?
"Was it a car or a cat I saw"
Spelled backwards is:
"Was it a car or a cat I saw"
Can someone remind me what you call these types of play on words? Also, if you know anymore, please share! :)
I am overjoyed that you've come across my handmade work! These are fascinating pieces that continue to captivate my attention since seeing them back in the early 90s. #corememory
I construct every piece by hand as you can see in the video. Please help me decide on a name for this crackly-blue colour way, as it's current name (Crackled Cobalt) feels a bit uninspiring...
Please consider reblogging/sharing my post as this helps get the word out that these still exist! I'm certain for every 10 reblogs, it'll cross paths with someone who also shares memories of these when they were younger.

Hello! I’m a maker of the once popular 3D wire mandala trinket from the 90’s era. During those “ancient” times, people would often enjoy this as a nifty hair piece, or fashionable bracelet. Nowadays it is more commonly used as a fidget toy and/or desk ornament. What makes this special is its hyper-versatility and the freedom of being able to use this however you can imagine.
I invite you to discover my handmade Fidget Blooms, and browse my hundreds of styles and colours favourited & reviewed by thousands of happy customers. Very demurely, use code TUMBLR at checkout for a special discount. Thank you for discovering my art, I do hope you enjoy it! :)
“The entire point of life is to take chances on dreams that seem crazy to most but feel like destiny to you.” -Timothy Shriver
I wanted to share this quote as it relates to my journey as an artisan specializing in wire art. It is a statement about pursuing one’s passion, even when others might find it unconventional or risky, as long as it feels personally meaningful and aligned with one’s purpose. <3
PS: 90s kids, don’t forget to take that Ipuprofen today for that back pain. XD

I literally just overheard someone say, "stop playing with fidget toys, you're not a kid"...
What makes people think fidget toys are only for children? Adults 100% fidget too, sometimes they just don't realize it or hate to admit it. #destigmatizefidgets

Five years ago I thought it would be a neat idea to try and make my favourite trinket of all time (3D wire mandala). So I found myself some copper wire, beads, a set of pliers and began tinkering. 5 years later, I make these wonderful multi-purpose pieces for lovely people all over the world full-time, and I couldn't be happier.
The ingredients for making a 3D wire mandala:
122.5 inches of electroplated copper wire (gold, silver, black)
14 funky beads (8mm size)
7 pieces of banding wire (22 gauge)
A one step looper and bent-nose pliers
and a lot of patience.. XD The next step in my small shop journey is to transition from selling on Etsy to my own website. Don't get me wrong, Etsy has been amazing for me as someone who wanted to open their own handmade shop but didn't know where to start, however, it is now time for me to spread my wings and (hopefully) fly. fingers crossed
Use code TUMBLR at checkout for a special discount just for discovering my work on here! PLUS checkout using PayPal and receive a FREE Spring Bloom Orbi-Loop with your purchase. (yes, I ship worldwide too!) Finally, don't forget to follow me as I am preparing a full-fledge tutorial (for free) to teach others how to make this on their own! It'lI be such a fun at-home craft project that I hope others will enjoy as much as I do!
PS: Sorry if this isn't blaze worthy. Just had a few extra credits available from Tumblr.
PPS: Style in video is Purple Nova (silver wire/standard size)

Did you know that a single Paradox Mandala consists of 122.5 inches of brass wire!? That just sounds absurd to me...
