I hope it’s okay that I’m reaching out. My name is Rola, and I’m a mother of two from Gaza. Life used to be simple—filled with laughter, home-cooked meals, walks with my children, and ice cream on weekends. But since October, everything has changed.

We lost our home in a bombing. One moment, we were sipping coffee on the balcony… the next, the house shook, windows shattered, and our world collapsed. We had to flee with nothing—no clothes, no toys, no sense of safety.

My children still ask about their beds, their books, their quiet little room. I don’t have answers. All I can do is hold them and keep going.

We’re now raising funds to evacuate—or, if returning becomes possible, to rebuild. I just want to give my children a future that isn’t defined by fear and loss.

Personality Type: INFJ-T Birthday: March 1st Hobbies: Writing & reading (though writing > reading), Marine Biology, Mainly embroidery + some sewing Likes: Theatre, the ocean, jewelry,  Favorite Colour: Blue Favorite Food: Veggie spring rolls Favorite Drink: Green tea Favorite Season: Autumn Favorite Flower: Pink camellia Favorite Bug: Isopods General info: - Atlantic Sea Nettle & Hamilton inspired :3 - I try to make her two stray hairs a little expressive for some less serious depictions of her (mainly chibi) - Definitely spends HOURS doing her makeup + getting ready in general - Vaguely 1700s time period ( again from most of Hamilton with the certain style of dresses ) - Absolutely loses the pearls from her accessories on a daily basis :') - I don't have any concrete lore just yet but I plan to give her some super fun fun angst :))) -- Going off of this specifically some Aroace yearning, either related to the prior loss something (person, concept or both idk) and the aftermath of that  --- The yearning/longing for something I plan to make the most crucial aspect of her character (Basically kinda inspired by Hamilton from the musical and the whole thing of being excessively driven to reach ones goal that ultimately it leads to their downfall just the downfall part much differently) - BASICALLY in the whole process of her grief of this loss she's desperately attempting to attain an unattainable ideal that grows farther and farther out of reach as she negatively progresses into the worst of her old and new habits. Ultimately leaving her in a worse place then she started (With all that yummy yummy angst in the whole process :3333) - Somewhat, unintentionally the star and ocean imagery in her design is kinda symbolic of that :DD  - I also pulled inspo from little bits of character I like for her character like Hamilton as already mentioned, Sigma (& somewhat Nikolai) from bsd, Frieren from Frieren and maybe just maybe a little bit of Jinx from Arcane or Azula from ATLA  - The color choices of her design are also prime for some good angst ( makes for some fun contrast :))))) ) - I may or may not make her somewhat Kelpie inspired but with the Atlantic Sea Nettle instead  - OTHERWISE she is my super silly little baby and I love her very much (´∀｀)♡  - Is this partly me projecting some onto her because there is literally no yearning I see well written in media i consume that is not romantic? Maybe... :3 But ig the representation won't write itself :)
