Will you tell me about Christian Drosselmeyer? 17, 20, 25 & 37
ooo, this one is forcing me to think xD Since this Christian Drosslmeyer is actually a Native War Mage from Hinsay whom moved to Earth by going through the Otherworld, I have to truly think what makes this man tick now. 17: Irrational Fears- He has a lot of ligitamte and Rational fears having lived through many wars in Hinsay as a world and dealing with the Fae on a daily when he was younger. But also he knows his Atomatons he created years ago could be used against people if the Mouse Queen got her hands on them... But Irrational? Hmmm Maybe being turned into a toad by Elder Jock since that happened when they used to be students at the Castle of Dracion and almost got eatten by a reeter hognose snake. 20: That he's afraid of being turned into a toad? xD All joking aside, I think would be that he knows Elder Jock and Druid Merlin since they were kids. All three are ancient men, but Christian was the one seprated by them for the longest due to going to a different world that is on the other side of the Otherworld/Underworld. 25: Hard to say. He's like a doting grandfather, but he also has a lot of secrets himself due to his life and thinks what's best for Clara is to keep those secrets and her memories away from her. I think I would only enjoy his company in smaller doses due to how he is personality wise. 37: Oooooohhh yeah. Too many to count. But the biggest few are: Queen Mousirinks for thrawting her curse on Princess Parlipat; The Pied Piper (yes, a literal god of the Bard Druids) for being the one to have handled the "Mice" Fae infestation of Hamlin; and he may have pissed of a rather powerful Winter Kelpie for being a bit too cocky in a particular war he was employed in when he was younger and disrespected him.

What kind of pet would YOUR Clara want/have? (I feel like she already has one but I can't remember 😅) And how does Tetsuko feel about HER name?
Clara Drosslmeyer would like cats yes, but she adores her Basset Hound Pitzelle even with the fact that it was gifted to her by her Ex fiancee for Christmas. Pitzelle also helps with her anxeity that she has out in public and will help her when she's having one of her bad days with health. Pitzelle also would make sure to find Clara no matter what due to knowing her sent like second nature. Tetsuko honestly cares a lot for her name. The full name even being Tetsuko Rewall Reshell It was one of the very few things left from her parents, and Grampa Hermit and her Master Crawl would always tell her that it was a powerful name as it ment "Woman of Steel". Her students also always said it was the most beautiful thing they've heard. She only allows close friends to call her "Tet" or "Suko" and does not take kindly to petnames that isn't her name due to feeling disrespected, belittled, and even mocked by those pet names. She knows it's a bit silly to have such an attatchment to such a thing but she takes her name seriously due to how little she owns for memories of loved ones. She would also make sure a Fae cannot take it from her so she's extreamly protective of it in that regard, messing with with said Fae by giving them the name "Nobody" as hers.

A quick sketch dump I did in a new 11×14 sektchbook. The image in the middle was suppose to be the thing I focused on, refinance was from @worldwideballet instagram again but I was getting frustrated so i did little thumbnail ideas pertaining to story but still not sure if they'll actually be implimented cannonly. But I had enough fun with them that ai finished the middle where I was happy enough even though the movement is perfect. #clara #worldballet #sketches #Thumbnailing #skeletonarm #concepting https://www.instagram.com/p/B7wKrvSFZwZ/?igshid=cm00l77v353e

Pizzelle the Basset hound. I decided to give Clara a dog as a pet... Also how she gets the lovable canine is super sweet. (I have noticed the tail is probably wrong. But this is my first attempt in drawing this breed of dog so i need more practice) Pizzelle is a female based on an old dog we used to have but mom had to give away for my safety at the time. Very well behaved and such but since he was only a year old he used to bawl me over with love and affection. And i was knocked down too close to a table (i was maybe 5 or 6. From mom tells me. I remember Boots, loved him as much as he loved me, but i get it now that I'm older) so in loving memory of that time with Boots, Pizzelle was created. #Dog #Pizzelle #bassethound #doggy #Clara #pets #sketching https://www.instagram.com/p/B5mED2aFCBJ/?igshid=1sl1240u0di46

Changes to this Tumblr
For those of you who do watch my tumblr, as you can probably tell, I have cleaned out all of the fanart reblogs (most of them at least) on here. This is because I am planning to try to try to make this a more professional blog about my writings, characters and Art. I have created an Instagram about two months (or more) ago for this exact reason. I will try to post more art on here and hope that things go through.
“But what happened to all the images and posts you reblogged/why did you keep some if you were cleaning it out?”
I have liked them and then deleted them from my blog. Of the reblogged things I did keep a few things as they pertain a sociological view, The struggles and idea of writing, or an issue that has to be addressed.
“Are you going to have fanart on here?”
I’m going to try to avoid fanart because again, it’s suppose to be more professional. If I do post a fanart image, it’s going to be more because I took a commission work and they had asked for said thing. If you want to see any fanworks that I do for actual fun would be more on DeviantArt. But noticed I said the word “Try”. This may change but we’ll see.
“What’s going to happen to your Printmaking one?” (if you are aware that particular tumblr)
I honestly do not know. I’ll debate it keeping it a bit longer, but if I see that it’s being ignored, then I’m going to just delete it as I didn’t do much with it anyways.
I think that’s it of all the things I need to address. Oh and Dice-Shaming isn’t going to be touched as that was more of a fun dumb project I did for shits and giggles and apparently people love it. So I’m keeping it and every once in a while post something there related to dice shaming and such.

Reblogging this because it had to be said..
Also gonna mention that I remember this one post going around saying something very similar but with gifs, I want to find that again. Truth to be told, a good strong character is one with some form of Emotion, or reaction to something, even the "emotionless" characters have something to relate to. As long as they grow strong as a PERSON doesn't mean that character is weak... They don't need to kick ass, they don't need to be a 'go getter' Hell, that's what made FF10-2 fail so hard in many cases because they forgot that Yuna had her own strength WITHOUT TRAVELING ALONE.... they don't explain at all how Yuna went from the polite, quite spoken woman, to a loud, boisious one in such a short amount of time. "Two years" is not a good explanation... far from it actually. You can be emotional, you can be needy, Hell you can even be the damsel in distress as long as you have your own beliefs and morals!! This is why I'm reblogging because this says it in so much detail and I think would help a lot of writers in the long run.
BTW, this can go for males too... you can have a quite spoken male in the same sense as this, or a very "feminine" male and still have it work. Politeness and kindness does NOT equal weak.

[rebloggable by request]
Well, first of all, WELCOME TO ONE OF MY PET PEEVES.
A female character does not have to be “strong” (whatever your definition of that is) to be a good character.
Women can be strong, or wussy, or emotional, or stoic, or needy, or independent, and still be legitimate people and interesting characters.
In our totally understandable desire to see portrayals of strong women (in reaction to decades of damsels in distress and women as appendages), we’ve somehow backed ourselves into this corner where the only acceptable portrayal of a woman in the media is a strong, kick-ass woman.  That is not doing women any favors.  It just leads to the attitude that you have to be ONE WAY ONLY to be legit as a woman.  You shouldn’t have to be Natasha Romanoff or Xena to be considered a good character.  Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Buffy as much as the next person, but that should not be the only acceptable portrayal.  It should be okay for a female character NOT to be strong, too.  Let’s take Molly Hooper as an example.  She is not the stereotypical “strong” woman.  But hell, she went through medical school, didn’t she?  She’s smart, and she’s funny, and she serves a story function - she is not a major character, but she doesn’t have to be.  But her character gets criticized because she pines after Sherlock.  What, you never pined after somebody?  Did it make you invalid as a person?  You never got a bit silly over a crush?  I know I did.  And I still consider myself a strong woman.  It should be okay for Molly to have a crush on Sherlock without getting the “oh, she’s so pathetic, what a terrible example, what a horrible female character” thing she so often gets.  Yes, because it’s so terrible that a female character should reflect an experience that like 99% of us have had.
Screw writing “strong” women.  Write interesting women.  Write well-rounded women.  Write complicated women.  Write a woman who kicks ass, write a woman who cowers in a corner.  Write a woman who’s desperate for a husband.  Write a woman who doesn’t need a man.  Write women who cry, women who rant, women who are shy, women who don’t take no shit, women who need validation and women who don’t care what anybody thinks.  THEY ARE ALL OKAY, and all those things could exist in THE SAME WOMAN.  Women shouldn’t be valued because we are strong, or kick-ass, but because we are people.  So don’t focus on writing characters who are strong.  Write characters who are people.
The only bad female character, if you ask me (and you did), is one who’s flat.  One who isn’t realistic.  One who has no agency of her own, who only exists to define other characters (usually men).  Write each woman you write as if she has her own life story, her own motivations, her own fears and strengths, and even if she’s only in the story for one page, she will be a real person, and THAT is what we need.  Not a phalanx of women who can karate-chop your head off, but REAL women, who are people, with all the complexity and strong and not-strong that goes with it.
This is why I disagree with the “damsel in distress” criticism of Irene in the last scene of Scandal.  Here’s the thing about being a damsel in distress…it’s only bad if that’s all she is.  If the character’s defining characteristic is being a damsel in distress, that’s bad.  But if an otherwise complex character with lots of other agency and actions happens to be in distress, then…that’s all it is.  She is in distress.  That happens.  Characters are often in distress, or there would be no plots.  Should a female character never be allowed to be in distress, at ALL, to be valid?  No.
A strong female character is one who is defined by her own characteristics, history and personality, and not solely by the actions or needs of other characters.  She is a person in the story, not a prop.  That is the best definition I can come up with.  Note that my definition did not involve martial arts.
That was probably longer than you were anticipating!  I’ve had that percolating for a long time.

I would like to add to the point which 7nights and lady-aku pointed out. If you read the original stories of a lot of these fairy tales, the girls mostly look practically the same with "slight differences" Blond, blue eyes, pretty much the perfect woman. Now there are some exceptions: The Little mermaid was half fish, the original Mulan in the poem WAS Chinese (so your Mulan argument is invalid), And Snow White had black hair and red rose lips, but she was extremely pale. If you go back even farther into when they were originally written, it was just implied of what one would consider beautiful unless described (Once again, Snow White is the example of the latter). So the point of a character is if you feel connected to them emotionally, not physically. While some of the fairy tales rendered the princesses more cookie cutter emotionally Disney actually gave the princesses personalities as time went on. (Rapunzel didn't even have a personality in her origonal). Also, Tropes aren't always bad either as the "animal sidekick" trope is used in many other things, not just Disney.
That being said, Frozen is based off of a fairy tale called "The Ice Queen" from what I've researched. When you read the actual fairy tale, they don't give you an actual place. So Nationality have no real meaning to it other then where it was written as some of the culture might have seeped through when it was being written. So being upset about the physical appearance will not get anyone anywhere. I'm actually pleased with what I've seen about it as I've barely seen this story rewritten and would like to see how they handle the story.
