If you could change one single plot point about S2 that relates to Dedra or Syril, what would it be?

The fangirl in me wants to be like, “SYRIL DOESN’T DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” but even then, I’m writing a fic where he doesn’t die and he’s still not even remotely okay or happy, post-Ghorman. I think the only way to really rescue him would be to never get him involved in Ghorman at all, but I did like that storyline for him, so I wouldn’t want it gone.

Really, I don’t know if this counts as one single plot point, but I would’ve liked to see Dedra looking for Luthen. Her whole arc was Ghorman and Syril until the massacre. It would’ve been nice to see her investigating, like she did in Season 1. We got a summary of what happened, but it’s not much of a substitute for seeing it, in my opinion. I missed the Dedra who was digging into data, finding patterns, and following her hunches even when she knew she might be wrong. If I could modify a plot point to give her more time to do that, that’s what I would pick.

what ppl defending kids on ipads don’t seem to understand is that there are other ways to keep kids occupied. my mom had a whole bag full of little toys and games for me to play with while waiting in lines at disney world. once your kid is like 7 or 8 they can read a book. they can color. or they can literally just sit there and imagine things. i did that a lot as a kid.
