“Hen!” Merlin was not far behind, cursing the little dragon to come back. But Hengroen was already gone. It was odd for Hengroen not to stop when he saw Arthur, who he liked above any other human in the citadel, but he was flying so quickly that he might not have seen the King.

“Stop calling him that, he’s not a chicken.” Arthur said to Merlin as the Court Sorcerer halted, panting with his hands on his knees.

“I named him,” Merlin wheezed, “I can call him what I wish.”

“Well that’s not fair, you’ve named all of them,” Arthur said.

Merlin huffed, straightening his court robes, “Well as soon as you become a Dragonlord, feel free to take Hengroen off my hands. He is making my hair greyer.”

CONGRATS TO OUR CREATORS! ✨

Thank you to everyone that applied to be in Albion! The only reason why we couldn’t accept every single one of you was because of printing rates. Our team sincerely loved looking at your work, and we can’t express how much we appreciate you all. 

Our acceptance emails were sent out yesterday, so make sure to check your emails and shoot a reply. We will be communicating with writers and artists through there about check ins, questions, and more.  To all the non-contributors excited about the project, we see you and appreciate you just as much! To take a look at the timeline, our contributors will be submitting their final pieces on December 1st, so we will be moving onto the printing stage from there. We are excited to announce our chosen charity for Albion. Based on our Interest Survey results, the proceeds from 2020 Merlin Zine will be going to The Black Trans Travel Fund! BTTF is dedicated to supporting Black Trans Women by providing them with funding for safer travel.
