Britney is a energetic Mermaid from the Ocean Kingdom. Being raised by a amazing mother. She has two siblings, Sunny and Malik. Britney is the middle child of the Conway family. She always wanted to explore on land before she became a human thanks to the necklace. When Britney is looking for shells by a shipwreck, she is chased by a shark which Luna saved her. Britney become friends with Luna, bonding with her. Luna seeing how interesting Britney is she leaves the Dark Kingdom to be with Britney. Britney is able to stand up to everyone who is afraid of Luna and telling everyone that a Dark Merperson can change.

Personality: Kind, Optimistic, Upbeat, Energetic, Ditzy at times, Friendly, Quirky, Curious, Naive, Child Like, Feisty at times, Artistic and always seeing the good in Mer-people like when she saw some goodness in Luna's heart.

Powers: Chlorokinesis (Plant Manipulation) and Arborkinesis

Luna Ravenblade Bio:

Luna Ravenblade is the daughter of the Dark Mermaid Queen, Lorelei. Being trapped of being under pressure of her mother wanting her to kill Queen Oceana (Queen of the Ocean Kingdom and Sonja's grandmother). She had a toxic relationship with her boyfriend, Shoney. Luna broke up with him after betraying the Dark Kingdom for making friends with Britney whom she saved her from a shark. Luna had a hard time with trusting anyone and is loyal to Britney and Sonja.

Personality: Cynical, Cold, Protective of Britney and Sonja, Distrusting towards villains and humans (At first), Observant, Helpful, Stern, Serious, Loyal, Hesitant at times, Independent, Advice Giving, Sympathetic and willing to get the job done.

Powers: Telekinesis and Psychic Visions (Seeing though the past and future when touching someone or read someone's thoughts)

Sonja Oceanstar Bio:

A human/Mermaid hybrid raised on land by Travis Oceanstar and Pearl Oceanstar. Pearl Oceanstar is a Mermaid that is in love with Travis which he's a Human. Pearl gave up her life as a Mermaid to be with Travis where they wed and had two daughters. When Sonja saved her friend, Edward from drowning, her Mermaid half surfaced. Before her Mermaid half surfaced, she has a fascination with the ocean and always wanted to explore it's waters and meet sea creatures. Something that her mother forbade her of going being overprotective of her.

Personality: Strong willed, Determined, Adventurous, Brave, Selfless, Sarcastic at times, Kind, Ambitious, Curious, Loyal to her friends, Witty, Smart, Resourceful, Protective (Of her younger sister and her friends), Confident, Upbeat, Stubborn at times, Stern.

Sonja and Rayman started as friends, getting along extremely well ever since the Robo Pirate incident. Sonja and Rayman will often joke around with each other but they work well together. They'll help each other out and protecting each other too. Of course during Hoodlum Havoc, Sonja and Rayman are happy to see each other after a long while. According to Rayman it was a couple of years after the events of Great Escape. Rayman is now in his 20's during Hoodlum Havoc which during the course of the episode, they grew closer than before developing feelings for each other.

Would love to know some lore about Lorelei

Queen Lorelei is Luna's mother. She's the main villain for Mermaid Tales being power hungry. She wants to overthrow Queen Oceana to become Queen of the Ocean Kingdom and all of the ocean. Lorelei put so much pressure on Luna wanting her to take Oceana's place as Queen. Luna never wanted to do that so she left the Dark Kingdom to be with Britney. Lorelei is angered by Luna's betrayal which she does try to gaslight Luna into being with her again, promising that she'll be a great mother. According to most the Mermaid Trio, they agreed that Lorelei is the worse mother.

Sonja and King Dice overly have a healthy relationship. During the video game version of Cuphead, King Dice flirted with Sonja in the first two Die House's. Luna knows something is up with King Dice, which she got a bad feeling that King Dice is trying to manipulate Sonja. After King Dice's battle, she finds out that Dice works for the Devil. Sonja questions King Dice if he's trying to manipulate her, King Dice genuinely tells Sonja that he enjoys a good conversation and he's attracted to her. Touched by this, Sonja gives him a kiss on the cheek before going with the Cup-Bros, Luna and Britney to take down the Devil. King Dice likes Sonja's smart yet sassy personality and Sonja loves King Dice's charismatic yet gentleman like personality.
