Arrows fan Cheryl clearing out an attic in 2019 and finds this Arrows autograph card from 1975 signed by lead singer Alan Merrill and detailing how hard it was for Arrows fans to get a copy of their single “I Love Rock N Roll” and how the record was getting no radio play.
It’s a good thing they got their one and only TV appearance on producer / Arrows supporter Muriel Young’s TV series “45″ in 1975 that got the band their own TV series the next year in 1976 where they played the song often on the show. The song might have had a whole different life without that sole 1975 TV appearance.
