      one of his siblings had thrown yet another party, a single of them just enjoying  to inject themselves with the poison mason found tasteless  —  maybe because he hadn’t really ever been sipping nor chucking down a whole bottle, it was always only a single glass of wine or champagne at dinners with his family, alone. mason was only there to get something to eat before he’d go back upstairs to his own room, try to ignore they blasting of music there was basically vibrating and bumping in the walls. when he was getting himself some of the food, he was just about to leave the kitchen only to bump into a stranger  ;  seemingly a little affected by alcohol but, the boy wasn’t all too sure on his stating thought. 

      eyebrows knit inwards toward one another at the stated query, making him confused as their drinks never really had any price. they could afford enough alcohol for the whole school, honestly  ——  not to brag or anything.  ❝  first of all, the drinks are free  —  secondly, maybe ask someone who’s actually attending the party  ?  ❞  mason wasn’t intentionally acting cold, his stomach was just grumbling and he didn’t know how else to approach the matter at hand, as this person before him was one of his sister’s guests  ;  not masons’. also meaning he didn’t want to take responsibility nor really get himself involved in anything, related to parties and drunk-heads.  ❝  why did you even wander to the kitchen  ——  ❞  there was little to none drinks out here, all the food and snacks were also lined up in the party-room of the mansion, puzzling him even further.
