You can expand and add depth to Adam's character without denying obvious shit about him.

Of course he is a misogynist, if you want to expand on that you can speak as to where that misogyny comes from, or talk about the disadvantages he and Lilith both had in being the first humans, equivalently being adult children with no authority to answer to for the most part.

Don't just argue his obvious and huge flaws don't actually exist! Well, you can do what you want but I'm just saying! His whole issue with women is a defining trait of his.
