This is just sportswashing. When England was training with some migrant workers so they could go look how happy they are that was just disgusting.

And having to pay 'fans' to attend the biggest sporting event of the biggest global sport in the world and then cutting off their daily allowance is beyond a joke.

And then there is also their treatment of women rarely getting to leave house. Having their lives run by men. Even Saudi Arabia has better women's rights, they can drive cars. And Iran are much worse.

Linc-Con x Senna x Overwatch We're all soldiers now.

I had a great time at Linc-Con yesterday! It was my sister's first con and hopefully the first of many. She had a good time. It was even busier than last year so going through the middle aisles at the start was impossible. Got a few bits from the stalls including a catnip frog that Minstrel (my cat who has appeared on here a few times) absolutely loves and a Kenshin Himura Nendoroid that should appear on here at some point. As always I will be at the next Linc-Con.

So it’s finally over.

Overwatch really meant a lot to me. I got the game in a period in my life where I knew I was trans, wanted to come out but too scared to. Overwatch really was a comfort game to me. The cool character designs. The awesome style of the game. The fun gameplay. It was like they designed it for me.

I never got to play it as much as I would of liked. Remember the Alienware Alpha? I got the i3 model because I bought it for visual novels and Postal 2 and ended up discovering it could do a hell of a lot more including DiRT Rally. Eventually because of changes to the engine (lighting mostly) the game which used to play 720P mostly high settings and 60FPS wouldn’t run correctly (character models wouldn’t load) so I got the PC I’m doing this love letter from (ASUS ROG G20 to those who care).

My internet which was pretty bad was getting worse and worse so whenever I played I would get lag or disconnections frequently. So I was forced to leave the game until I got new internet. But when I got I could never get the motivation to play it. What if I didn’t enjoy it as much? What if I kept getting disconnects? My heart couldn't take it. I did open Battle.net a few times to update it but I never played it. Then I got the news, play it now or never again.

So I played it. Got just over 32 hours before the game was murdered by money grubbing assholes. My paid game ‘upgraded’ to a free-to-play game. That is that an upgrade? The game is different now. From 6v6 to 5v5. It isn’t a case of what is different, it’s a case of what’s different. Now a different game and the old one a memory.

Splatoon 3 has no mircotransactions. Neither does 1 or 2. I can go back and play both 1 and 2. This is just typical Activision Blizzard and Blizzard anti-consumer mentality which I hope more people will see and I hope it hurts their profit margins.
