To be honest, I think she always knew. She repressed the memory and was willing to latch on to Cassidy’s “It was William” theory, but I think so think William’s springlocking incident was the moment that pushed her over the edge and convinced her that it was Henry.

Apologies if this was already asked; but in your WilliamwasFramed!AU, is David Murray also David Afton? Or are they two separate kids?

(If they are two separate kids, did William intentionally name one of his kids after Murray's?)

Two separate kids! David Murray died shortly before David Afton was born. On the naming thing, it’s actually one of the big reasons Mrs. Afton left—she was upset over William wanting to name their son after David Murray—even if Will swore up and down it was because his own middle name was David.

Thoughts on the idea going around that Arnold could be Cassie's grandfather?

I know that people like to use that cut voice line of Arnold talking about having an ex-wife and child to justify the headcanon—which is totally cool and fair—but I personally don’t vibe with it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Knowing FNaF lore, though, it could very well be true.

For the WilliamWasFramed!AU, I put Arnold (and Andy/Dispatch) around late 20s/early 30s when they died. Arnold has an ex-wife, but no kid.

The “purely ghost” characters (i.e. character not attached to a specific animatronic) are always interesting to me—namely, what does possessing a computer or phone look like? I like to imagine they have their own little mind palaces they retreat to, and they all look different based on what they’re possessing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How does phone guy feel about his daughter after his death?

Does he hate her?

Definitely not, Mark’s just about the best there is at forgiveness—even if it wasn’t his daughter and her friends. I mean, if you’d been forced to sing those same stupid songs for 20 years and you never got a bath? You’d be a bit irritable at night, too!

In all seriousness, Mark’s almost too forgiving at times—he’s a peacemaker at heart and spoiled Cassidy almost as badly as Will spoiled Elizabeth. Pair that with the guilt of her dying in the first place, and Mark’d forgive just about anything she did.

So, is cassie aware that the "programs" they're dragging out of the pizza plex are all souls? Including mask bot? Like, Arnold pretty much screams that he's actually a dead guy in her face. Is she aware she's surrounded by dead people?

I think Cassie is aware that ghosts are involved? Mostly because I think Gregory knows ghosts are involved, and Cassie and Gregory are friends. But I also think she knows there are robots that aren’t possessed, like the Glamrocks. Most importantly, she also doesn’t know (or, doesn’t want to believe) that her missing father is actually dead, so it’s easier to think Mask Bot is a curious AI rather than a ghost.

Because Candy Cadet is his favorite little non-lethal money maker and Michael cried when he thought he’d lost him to the FNaF 6 fire.

Okay I recently checked out the new additions to the google doc timeline and wow, Dispatch went through it. Is he also haunting the place or did he stay dead? If he is still kicking is he alright?

I was wondering when someone would notice that I was updating that, lol. Dispatch/Andy is very much still around. “Alright” is subjective, though. :)

With the theory that William stole Edwin's house (David's bedroom looking similar to the Crying Child's bedroom), I'm just imagining-

William: "What do you mean, he's giving up the house?"

Henry: "That's what he said. He couldn't bring himself to look at it, I guess."

“l’m not moving into a missing man’s burnt down house, Henry!”

“Listen, we own the land, we’re already in the process of repurposing the Costume Manor and the residential property’s been abandoned. The only other option is to demolish it. I thought you liked that house? Weren’t you friends with Fiona? Do you think she’d want the house she raised her child in to be destroyed? She’d want you to have it, Will. Put some more happy memories in there. For her.”

Sorry for the more asks but I am just so curious about this au. So two things for the williamwasframed au. 1. Ballora was hinted to be either a design of/or the animatronic that held Mrs. Afton. How does William feel about seeing Ballora? 2. What happened to Henry in this au?

1.) Ballora was loosely based on Mrs. Afton in this (i mean, her name is Laura in this AU, lol) but there was actually another subtext underlying the design process—namely, a recently single William desperately trying to prove he was a Very Straight Man Who Liked Women™ to…someone? Himself? Mark has never let him live the design down nor has he forgiven him for making him advertise it to children’s parties. The “Ballora” animatronic isn’t really around anymore though, as most of the Funtimes have merged permanently into the spaghetti pile known as Ennard.

2.) Henry “officially” dies when he burns alive in the FNaF 6 fire. His soul is trapped by Cassidy in Ultimate Custom Night Hell for a while, but he does eventually escape and starts hopping around computers as Glitchtrap and, later, Burntrap/Mimic.

This is actually very similar to the running gag that I have written, namely that Michael makes a huge deal about his bones getting stolen. Like, very often. Lizzie’s name is “Bone Thief” in his phone.
