gender dysphoria worsens once you become an adult because transition is so close yet so far. i'm still in school, i still live at home, but i am an adult. the only barrier between me and transition is coming out. but coming out even when you know you will be safe, tolerated, and accepted, is unnecessarily difficult. they should invent a being transgender that's easy
