The Alcremie Halloween: Part 3

- Evolution -

The toughest part of evolving 32 Alcremie is getting enough sweets. And so it was time to give offerings to the great Cram-o-matic It’s been a second since I’ve really gathered items in Sword, so I didn’t have a ton of resources to work with. It took a bit of cooking and draining all of my Armorite Ore, but I was able to gather 31 regular sweets and 1 special star sweet for the shiny girl!

I made a whole spreadsheet to track what sweets i had and what color of alcremie to pair them with, as well as nicknaming all of them. Then it was just a matter of spin, spin, spinning…

To be honest this was the most satisfying part, watching each of my little milcery come into their own. I almost made it so each one had a unique appearance, but I did end up doubling on the mint cream/berry sweet combo. It just looks so cute!

And with that the prep-work was just about done. I took some time to admire my handy work, and then got everyone loaded into pokemon home. Next up, to trade them all away T^T

The Alcremie Halloween: Part 2

- The Shiny Hunt -

I got to hatching tons of milcery. I typically have really terrible luck with Egg shiny hunts specifically. I Remember hunting for a shroomish in Pokemon Y using the Masada method plus a shiny charm, and after maybe 1000 eggs there was still no red shroom in sight, and I eventually gave up.

Luckily I have a foreign ditto and a flawless Alcremie ready to go, so at least i didn’t have to spend any time setting up for the hunt. And so the boxes started filling up with these little buggers

I got a little worried about what would happen if i wasn’t able to find a shiny in time, I got pretty attached to the idea of sending out a shiny to some stranger. Now a days, only hacked shinies seem to come through surprise trade, but I remember the days of Wonder Trade Wednesday in Gen 7 where people would give away legit shinies to an unknown stranger. I really wanted to recreate that in some way, and at least if i send it over the GTS theres less of a chance of it going to a bot (i hope)

Lucky for me, a little over the 200 egg mark, I got the little void-eyed weirdo!

Now to evolve all of them (oof)

The Alcremie Halloween: Part 1

- The Idea -

Step 1 - Hatch a shit ton of Milcery until I get a shiny

Step 2 - Evolve 30 of those milcery into various forms of alcremie, plus the shiny (also they are all nicknamed)

Step 3 - Trade them away on the GTS on Halloween

Step 4 - Also Dusk form Lycanroc

Why? I dunno I thought it would make the GTS more fun. Alcremie is always in demand and maybe I could get something kinda interesting. I always love getting nicknamed pokemon, so nicknaming my own to trade away is a must.
