one month left...

one month left until mha rarepair week starts!! i hope everyone is excited, we know we are :)) i don't have much to say right now, just a reminder that we have a discord server where you can chat with other rarepair lovers, as well as ask questions, look for advice, or even beta readers!! we try to make the place as nice for you guys as possible. if you want an invite, send us an ask or reply to this post, we're always happy to have new members!!

look out for more posts from us about posting (we're planning to have an ao3 collection), as well as maybe something else that i shall not speak of for now. have fun creating for our lovely prompts and don't forget to be here when it starts!! we already know of many many cool stuff people are planning from the discord server, and i can only assume it'll only get better from here!!

Hii :) i have no intention of posting on Tumblr, but can i still participate in the event if my work is only on AO3?

sure!! we will likely have an ao3 connection when the time comes, so if you'll post there, it will be easy to find as a part of this event and it won't be needed to post it on tumblr :) we still will reblog every post on here, that is tagged with #mhararepairweek2025 so if people do post on tumblr, it will appear on this account as well but it's fine to post only on ao3

hellooo!! :) i had a question about the supernatural au!

i was wondering, would dnd parties/dnd characters fall into this category, or is that too much of a seperate au?

hi! i believe, if anything, dnd parties/characters would fall into fantasy au. cause it is a high fantasy rp system, i'm pretty sure but def fantasy at the very least. so no, i don't think dnd character would fall into supernatural au but i do think they can fall into fantasy au if you want them to

(for an rp system that is more along the lines of supernatural, i would say world of darkness btw)

can prompts from different days be combined?

as long as one prompt from the day in question is used, we're fine with inspiration being found in other prompts too, so technically, yes - though its "official" prompt would be the one you'd choose from that day's prompts

does poly made of popular ships counts as rare? for example, no BakuDeku or TodoDeku but is TodoBakuDeku accepted?

yap!! as long as the focus is on the trio, todobakudeku is accepted as a ship in this event. here are two more asks we've answered about poly ships for a more detailed view on what we accept when it comes to ships that are popular being a part of poly

There is a chance I'll be out of town on the 14th of july. Would I be allowed to post my stuff early or late for that??

Also: im super excited and am already planned what I'm gonna make

late submission are fine with us for sure - as long as it's labeled for the day/prompt you wrote it for, we'll accept them even after a few days the week itself is over. things can come up, life gets in the way sometimes - we don't want that to stop us from being able to see what you guys create :)

Rarest of the Rare stands for any rarepair that has under 100 fanfiction on ao3. We encourage everyone to create for these pairings for the last day of the fanweek but it also our free day, so it is absolutely not a rule - you can create for any pairing and any prompt that day.

yes, we agreed on seroroki being allowed - it's definitely a more popular rarepair, with over 2k fics on ao3 but compared to other todoroki ships, it's still fairly rare. plus, the most important part of this event is to come together and create and while we intend to focus on the less popular and therefore less loved ships, we also didn't want to cross too many things out - after all, the mha fandom is quite big, anyway
