in honor of me beating hades for the first time

ACT I. CODEX OF ACHILLES

“…The younger sister of Lady Nyx and her husband, Erebus. I take a look at Lady Iphigenia and I ought to see no resemblance between the siblings. She only shares the white hair with Erebus and Chaos. Blue skinned, with eyes the color of molten gold. Iphigenia is a goddess with no title, yet her presence is enough to unsettle even the most hardened of shades and gods. The lady is a fury and her whip is slung around her arm, ready to be used at any given moment. She has no master, yet stays at Lord Hades’s palace and wanders the Crossroads. He seems to like her, as Zagreus is careful not to displease her. I suppose the Master enjoys the fact that his son takes her seriously and wants to impress her. I am not privy to ask any details about her creation or to ask any questions about her. I fear she does not think highly of me…”

ACT II. THE GODDESS WITH NO FATE

“my dearest zagreus, if you’d present me ambrosia in hopes to woo me you are to be mistaken. i have no interest in men and my heart lies with a witch down ephyra.”

“with the lady medea?!”

the only thing the god earned was a chuckle before the woman turned around and bid him farewell.

a conversation between them

the lady iphigenia most famously only wears the colors pink, yellow and orange. it suits her best according to herself and arachne. she dressed like a ornate seashell you’d only see once in your life, perhaps the sea was to her calling.

iphigenia is a child of chaos, powerful and beautiful. every god dreads to anger her, she does not take lightly to being insulted and will lash out. perhaps that was why alecto loved her so much, both of them had a short fuse and a temper to match it. but how did she come to be?

chaos, the creator of all, everything and nothing, made her from stardust or a dying star. it is unknown as to why they created a new offspring, iphigenia’s presence unsettled the gods of mount olymp. no less did their worries ease when they found out she was a eriyne. why’d chaos create one ? not shortly after they took the appearance of one, chaos changes forms as often as they please. maybe it was to show alliance to their daughter being one now.

why had she no title? no position. iphigenia is a primordial deity, with no claim over godhood. her sister was the personification of the night. and she was total opposite of it all. it made iphigenia feel like she did not belong in the world, but she strives to find her place. a title and finally being able to make her parent proud.

the fates themselves did not spur a fate for her, because apparently there was none. she could find her own fate if she’d find a place of belonging. iphigenia despite that was respected and more than welcome in the house of hades. where she had been found causing more trouble and mischief with the god hypnos than anything. lord hades sent alecto to try and tame iphigenia. it had worked, but in a way he didn’t expect.

ACT III. THE CROSSROADS AND THE WITCH

it had been utterly mad for iphigenia to wander into the crossroads uninvited, but according to herself it was an accident. she got lost, she had claimed. thankfully to her dismay, the lady hecate had expected her arrival and paid no mind to the fury entering her domain without proper invitation. the lady had then written to her dearest sister nyx. dozens of letters were about witchcraft and finding enjoyment in magick. if ipigenia was to believed, she liked odysseus much, holding him in much higher regard than achilles or any other greek hero she had previously encountered in elysium.

in those letters, she also stated that there was a certain witch that bothered her. the lady medea. iphigenia found her unsettling, a true witch who enjoyed tormenting others. medea managed to intimidate iphigenia on a good day, which was very rare. the fury, to her horror, realized that medea enjoyed tormenting her. and for once the fury didn’t fight back, because even the youngest child of chaos feared the concoctions of medea. lady hecate demanded that they spend time with another, to their horror and anger, because she was just fed up with them bantering all day. together they’ll soon venture to the remains of the ruined city ephyra. which in itself is a bad idea, for the tension between the two women is inventible and if her fears are right, will lead to romance.

the fury, iphinegia, was created by chaos for reasons inexplicable to the gods themselves. maybe it was their attempt to build a good relationship with one of their children, as they’ve failed to do so with nyx and erebus. she is often seen gossiping about with dusa, hypnos and megaera. occasionally aiding zagreus on his journey to escape the underworld. she has no real place, that’s why she wandered the crossroads. the lady hecate welcomes the fury and has offered to teach iphinegia the wonders of magic.

STRENGTH. 〝 triumphant conclusion to a major life problem. 〞 you’ve overcome something in your desired reality - what was it? simply tell us about, or make a playlist or moodboard about your strength arc! was it a moment of bravery, emotional healing, or standing up for yourself? did you win a battle, mend a broken friendship, or finally face your fears?

JUSTICE. 〝 fairness, truth, and taking accountability. 〞 let's play truth or truth! (you're welcome to answer each question with a dr - or drs - of your choice, you don't need to answer for one specific dr) i. do you think you're a good person in your dr? why or why not? ii. is there a 'bad guy' in your dr who you secretly understand too well? iii. what are you shifting to your dr for? fame? love? money? drama? or just the experience? iv. what's the most controversial thing you've done/will do in your dr?.. come on... we won't judge v. what's your juiciest secret in your dr?

THE HANGED MAN. 〝 the importance of gaining new perspectives in our own lives. 〞 create a moodboard of how you look in the eyes of someone important in your dr. e.g. your s/o, friend(s), kids, parents, pet, teachers, etc.

DEATH. 〝 typically implies an end. 〞 tell us about an ex partner or ex friend in your dr. who are they? how did you meet? why didn't things work out?

TEMPERANCE. 〝 balance, healing, and harmony 〞 create your dr care kit! design a care package full of things that help you feel balanced in your dr items can be something in your cr (like candles, crystals, tea blends) or dr-specific (like a potion your best friend brews, or a custom playlist from your s/o).

THE DEVIL. 〝 temptation, indulgence, and desire. 〞 host your dr vice party! you're throwing an invite-only after hours party... what kind of chaos ensues? who's on the guest list? who's not on the guest list? what's your vice? are you drinking expensive wine, wearing something dramatic, sneaking off to gossip? you could add a playlist that matches the vibe, write a fake magazine article or paparazzi coverage of the night, or describe what happens when the party starts to spiral (affairs? arguments? unexpected truths?).

WEEK FOUR. ( XVI XVII XVIII XIX XX XXI )

THE TOWER. 〝 sudden unforseen change. 〞 create two moodboards of before and after a change in your dr. it could be a relationship, fame, friendship, etc.

THE STAR. 〝 optimism, hope, and renewal. 〞 tell us about one of your favourite scenarios you've scripted that you���re excited to experience! is it something simple like a hang out with your friend? or something massive like your wedding day?

THE MOON. 〝 illusion, mystery, and the subconscious. 〞 create a mysterious letter or message your dr self receives. it could be from the universe, a loved one, future-you, or anonymous! and what is your reaction?

THE SUN. 〝 representative of the universe coming together and agreeing with your path. 〞 create a highlight reel of your dr! pick 3+ 'scenes' that show your dr self at your happiest, and describe them in short bursts, moodboard them, edit them, or even make them look like instagram highlights.

JUDGEMENT. 〝 reflection, evolution, and recognition. 〞 your reality yearbook! hand out yearbook-style superlatives of yourself and others in your dr. bonus: include mini yearbook quotes for each person :)

THE WORLD. 〝 a cycle of life. 〞 create a dr 'season finale' post. how would your journey wrap up (for now)? imagine your dr as a tv show, film, or book - how does this chapter end? write a closing scene, make a mini trailer, a moodboard of your life, draft your dr's 'credits' (cast list, soundtrack, etc), who would've written your screenplay? tim burton, sofia coppola?

another shifting event . . . ? well yes ! the 333 event is inspired by jtsblock’s circus event and laylasverse’s alphabet soup event, but with a focus on the parts of your dr that feel too niche, too specific, or too weird to share in casual conversation.

i　. . .　this event will run from the 21st to the 23rd of july. three days, three prompts to choose from for each day. 

ii　. . .　pick from one of the three prompts for the day and complete it for any reality, in any format that feels right. all the prompts can be completed however you want, however, the prompts on day two are tailored towards moodboards and other visual media.

lingua franca — what words or phrases exist only in your dr ? what do you call things that don’t have names anywhere else ? this can be the little familect you developed over the years, or it can be an entire constructed language.

phantom limbs — what do you miss most about your desired reality when you’re in your current reality ? which physical sensation feels wrong or missing here ? maybe it’s the absence of someone’s hand in yours, or the missing sound of a voice calling your name. what part of your reality’s body do you reach for that isn’t there ?

midnight mass — what do you do in your dr when you can’t sleep ? where do you go, what do you touch, how do you comfort yourself in the dark ?

family portrait — your favourite member of your family, chosen or blood or something in between. who are they, and what do you feel about them that you can’t quite put into words ? 

love language — your private little rituals with your person, the small things that exist only between the two of you. what cafe knows both of your orders without asking ? what hobbies do you share and compete over with the kind of intensity that borders on ridiculous ? what tiny, seemingly insignificant things do you do for each other ?

faded photograph — your favourite moment in your dr, the one you’d freeze and live inside forever if you could. not just what happened, but how it felt to be alive inside it.

ghost story — what haunts your dr ? not necessarily something supernatural, but the person who should be there but isn’t, the conversation you never had, the choice that changed everything. what shadow follows you around even in your happiest moments ?

fool’s journey — where do you go in your dr when you need to remember who you are ? the location that feels more like home than home itself. what makes this place yours, and what do you do there that you can’t do anywhere else ?

inheritance writ — what did you learn from someone else in your dr that you carry with you everywhere ? a skill, a turn of phrase, a way of seeing the world that someone taught you and now it’s become part of who you are. whose voice do you hear in your head, perhaps even more than your own ?

ACT I. THE VERY BRIEF OVERVIEW

coral giannira is one of the most famous vampires as she and her friends are a rockband , also due to being hunted by the talamsca for her knowledge on vampire society as she is part of the council. as the name suggests it’s a council where powerful vampires discuss things, but what exactly ? corey doesn’t tell. how’d she even become a part of the council ? what qualified her , the giannira name ? her brothers influence ? her influence ?

ACT II. WHO IS SHE?

corey sullivan is many things. a rockstar, a hater, a poet & the girl who makes grown vampires cry. thinks the world is too loud and busy, a victim of 80s music culture. rock music specifically (though she might not look like it), corey will never be caught enjoying the top 40 hits. allison reynolds or frank n furtner possess her, depending on what day it is. depending on her mood she is either the sweetest person or the most sarcastic person in the room. she didn’t make up the rules. known to make even the most stoic and fearsome people laugh.

her social skills are non existent and she is often seen hiding, blushing or stuttering her way out of a conversation. she does not enjoy the prying eyes of society, as she feels judged in the shadows. corey needs to work on that. but with her friends she is loud and open. crazy, in the opinion of others who had a glimpse of corey when she is with briana and maria. she is seen laughing and smiling like no one has ever seen her. though she is worse with her siblings, though as the elder sister she still feels some form of using her “older sister glare™️.” not even her own family are safe from her sarcastic jokes, they are her weapon and perhaps the thing she loves most about herself.
