1. his name is edwin. he made the mimic. it was difficult to put the pieces together hAahahah no sorry i just love that song.

anyways i had this theory before sotm released that edwin had been contracted by william and henry to make the sl animatronics. edwin made the mimic and put it into his truck to transport over to william and henry, but in the process hit his son aaron (NOT david, william already has a david). aaron got mangled up with the mimic and died in such excruciating pain that his remnant leaked into the mimic and possessed it.

he forgot who he was, only remembering the fact that edwin killed him, and hunted edwin down instead their house until the man died. after that, he tried to recall his own identity, but failed and ended up just killing whoever he could find and stealing their voice (this was supposed to be a function for sister location where the bot would mimic "celebrity voices" to entertain kids— which in reality william intended to use to mimic kids trusted ones and capture them).

(note; the other animatronics like jackie and whoever else idk were other sl animatronic prototypes, but they were left abandoned with half entered code after mimic killed edwin. most of them were destroyed)

i watched a summary of sotm's plot but i like mine better so im keeping it.

2. elizabeth died first. william made the sister location animatronics to capture kids and animals so he could learn more about remnant, but as we know, elizabeth got caught in the process. to avoid deeper investigation, william cleaned up baby and claimed liz as missing and likely a runaway to the police.

in the aftermath he became a lot more neglectful to his remaining kids and didn't do anything when michael's teasing towards david (cc) turned into proper bullying and eventually led to david's death. sister location shut down due to lack of sales, and fredbears shortly after daves death.

(fun additional fact no one asked for! mike and liz, being significantly older than dave, played pranks on him a lot, and dave was a crybaby. william always told them off whenever they took it too far, directing his harshest and physical punishments towards mike because "he's influencing his sweet younger sister to get into ruffian (boy) hobbies and bullying his younger brother". despite this william also often got annoyed by dave, which was exacerbated by a slight resentment to dave for the fact that his birth was what killed clara afton.

dave and his siblings spent a lot of time outside the house on a "dont return till nighttime" rule, where mike and liz would abandon him to play somewhere else while he sat alone picking at worms and dirt. this led to bullying at school too.)

3. william liked to lie to himself to say that charlie's murder was premeditated so he could learn more about remnant, but the reality is that it was the culmination of years of jealousy and obsession over henry. it came to a tipping point after henry and william had a fight over their different visions for the franchise; william got drunk and came to fazbears to pick a fight with henry.

charlie had gotten locked out while trying to get home on her own because she got bored of sitting around in fazbears while her dad worked. when she asked henry to take her home, he replied with a noncommital "mm, later", so she got rebellious and decided to go home on her own. william saw her outside and killed her to get back at henry, as well as convince her that the franchise needed to expand with MORE animatronics, for safety of course (henry thought they should've just stopped at fazbears).
