wip pics of the process of creating a listone giordano biscuit pattern parquett - one of those patterns, which look simple, but are tricky to create in substance designer

more #billion wip pics: decided to match the refs camera position, starting to refine the elements, watching marmoset tutorials to improve my scene, texture is 2k, but there is a lot of space to add elements like different kinds of plastic wrapping, i.e. deformed wrapping for the bottom and the top.

swapping the head for the visor guy for a scan (plus scanned shoes). i really like how the expression on his face fits my reference (which i´m not gonna show to you)
shoes will require a bit of "inflating”, it´s quite obvious, that they were scanned without feet inside of them :)

wip pics of a billion dollar (or so) - blocking out the texture in substance designer: just one texture for the whole thing, and of course substance allows you to convert your cash into any currency you like... no fees, promised

what a cleanout!
making progress with the gold nugget substance, but still wip
i created an ambient occlusion stacking logic in several sub graphs, i would be lost without the new “open reference in context” feature
soon I will be rich

working on this character, with focus on this ridiculous “visor”
reference is the “cheese head” vr kit, as seen on the ”road to vr” website
i decided to use one of my wip characters instead of going for a copy of the reference

celebrating zbrush2018 and substancepainterspringrelease
like everyone else, I am creating a sphere with something > frog/beelzebufo
getting an idea of the final presentation (marmoset) helps me to come up with a massive todo list > iterating through additional zbrush and spainter passes
the wip renders are done in spainter (iray) and marmoset (the bottom pic)
