I'll share the (very old) cover art?? xD God.. this artwork really isn't good by my current art standards, but well.. It's a doujinshi in the canon universe, but with some twists, bc the story's 13 years old xD -> Ace is part of the crew -> There'll be a different and completely original ship (the Thousand Sunny wasn't a thing back then x,D) -> @simonstardust (who's the co-author) and I came up with original arcs as well

Haha, thank you xD x3 I've got my art called a lot - but so far never scrumptious xDDD For the asks: 8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in?

Actually, I'm noone to lose interest in projects per se. But I've got some projects where the way I want to present the story has changed over the years:

School Fortune was once supposed to be a visual novel, but now I'd rather make a manga or graphic novel out of it.

Weltenwandler started as a fully written story, but let's be honest: I'm not the greatest writer, so again, I'd rather make a manga/graphic novel out of it. Or a Battle for Wesnoth campaign - can't decide so far xD

There is one manga project, though, I scrapped completely. Not because I've lost interest in it, but because I started it with a former friend of mine to who I broke off contact with. (There was some oppressing and emotional abuse going on.. I feel a lot better since I don't engage with that person anymore.) But yeah... those were about 5 notebooks full of sketches for.. nothing. Could've used that time better in retrospective.

19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)?

Cars and fire-arm weapons xD There's probably a lot swearing going on whenever I draw those, but secretly I enjoy it xDDD

Funfact on the side: Making a One Piece doujinshi made me realize that the one inanimate object I desperately HATE to draw is a wine rack xDDD After struggling through that I'm pretty much okay with any other background tbh xD

29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically?

Wow, this is a hard one. There are two things I can come up with, tho:

Digimon. I LOVE the story, I've watched the anime multiple times, but I think I always knew that my drawing style would be completely different from the one in the anime. Neither am I taking inspiration from monster designs or story telling there. It's an anime I thoroughly watch for enjoyment.

Second would be any crime series like Sherlock, Criminal Minds or Death Note. There's probably no genre I love watching more than psychological driven crime series. But I am simply not ABLE to write a story like that. So even though I enjoy designing cops or detectives, I don't think I'll ever add that deep psychological element, since I just don't feel like I could write it in a way that satisfies me and feels well written.

Oh wow, so many asks! O_O First of all thanks you so much?! I feel very honoured receiving such kind words!! <333 But now for the asks:

3. What ideas come from when you were little?

Honestly, I don't think I really invented stuff myself when I was little?Like, how do you define little? x,D Up until I was about.. 11 I simply engaged in stuff @simonstardust had come up with.

The first own creations were probably my Weltenwandler OCs, which I came up with when I was 12 and revamped a couple of years ago.

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw?

I really enjoy tattoos on characters, just because of the aesthetics. They're a pain in the ass to draw, though. Especially when you have to consider muscle movement and the distortion of the tattoo that comes with it.

Also anything that's mechanical - it's a love-hate relationship, bc I enjoy the process, but it just takes too long xD

5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself!

I defnitely post too much online x,D Anytime I draw digitally, chances are high that the final product ends up somewhere online. I do have 3-4 sketchbooks, though, where I have posted nothing of or maybe just some selected pages. I definitely should draw more in those traditional sketchbooks again ^^"

15. *Where* do you draw (don't drop your ip address this just means do you doodle at a park or smth)

I mostly draw at my desk at home. But I always carry around a sketchbook and at least some pencils, when I'm going somewhere. And I very much enjoy drawing in cafés! I did this regularly when I was in university and always occupied a whole table at the café x,D But I also have to admit that drawing in class was always very inspirational to me and I keep doing that to this day. (I'm not in regular school anymore, it's more or less something like paedagogic university.)

20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy:

That's an easy one: Hands. And long hair. Even though I wouldn't call myself a pro at drawing hands, I enjoy drawing them. The hands I draw tend to be very slender, though, and have the most un-prominent thumbs you can think of because I mostly use my own hands as reference x,D

My obesession with long hair (end especially drawing hair strands) was fueled by reading Yami no Matsuei when I was in my teens. Fell in love with the art style and got pretty influenced by it. The way of drawing hair like the mangaka Yoko Matsushita stuck with me until this day xD

26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended?

Okay, I really had to think about this for quite a while. At first I thought about stuff like people thinking I ship KidxZoro bc of some of my band!au sketches or the weird predictions people make when reading my ZoSan douji...

But then it got to me!! 2 years ago I posted this artwork on Deviantart (realized I don't have it in my tumblr blog yet, so.. here you go? xD):

And some user on dA literally started writing something like a FANFIC underneath it?!?! Including stuff like "part 2 tomorrow" at the end of their comment like every user on the site was urgingly waiting for more... very weird and chaotic written interpretation of this pic??? I can't describe it, honestly. So I'll just link it HERE.

Maybe I'm forgetting another very weird interpretation, but this one definitely was the weirdest situation regarding this matter and it stuck to me very prominently x,D
