“Mr. Reese, is that a grenade you are trying to hang on the Christmas tree?” Harold’s baffled and slightly panicked voice stopped John midway into hanging, well, a grenade on the Christmas tree.

John turned around, amused at the way Harold’s eyes were wide behind his glasses. “Don’t worry, Finch. I am pretty sure it’s a dud.”

“Oh, good. That makes me feel much better.”

Merlin Memory Month 2019 Day 2 // Path 2 - Emotion/Mood/Aesthetic: Eerie  

They are both sitting by the lake’s side as the moonlight glints off the water’s surface, illuminating the view.

Arthur’s foot touches Merlin’s under the water. “What are you looking at?”

“You want to see?”

When Arthur nods, Merlin mutters a quick spell and waits for Arthur’s reaction.

“They are water spirits,” he explains after Arthur flinches when a small pixie with spikes on her back passes close to him.

“They are quite…”

“Creepy?”

Arthur laughs, then shakes his head. “Beautiful.”

“Sap.” Merlin entwines his fingers with Arthur’s, staring ahead at the dancing spirits with a smile on his lips.

I desperately want to see a scene with Thor and Loki where they have to remove all of their weapons. Thor puts down Mjolnir while we spend the next 5 minutes watching Loki remove most of his knives.

Merlin Memory Month 2019- Day 1: Path 2 - Emotion/Mood/Aesthetic: Mighty.

Merlin ducked when Arthur swung his sword and threw his weight against Arthur’s side, toppling him over. The look of bewilderment on Arthur’s face was worth all the bruises accumulated through weeks of training.

Merlin settled on top of him, pressing his wooden sword against Arthur’s neck. “Yield.”

Arthur’s eyes were dilated, his breath coming out short. It didn’t surprise Merlin when he was flipped a moment later, ending up with his hands in Arthur’s grip. He gave in to the press of Arthur’s lips with barely a protest.

He had already proven his might. It was Arthur’s turn now.

the reason i like staying up late so much is because between the hours of 1am-5am, the world is quiet and no one expects anything from me. i could stare at my wall for 4 hours and there would be no consequences. it’s so silent and calm. i love it
