We finally took our boys on a long overdue family vacation. It was full of unforgettable moments, craziness, and hot days ☀️. The boys had the time of their life. We badly needed this unplugged family time ❤️. We just got home two days ago, and tomorrow I’m leaving for a last minute trip to California to see my 99 year old grandmother. It’s been a whirlwind of a summer that’s for sure! Thank you to all my amazing clients for your patience. I promise you I’m editing every spare moment I have 💻 ✈️.

Nicole and Sam are such an incredibly sweet and genuine couple and absolutely adorable together. Their wedding was timeless, romantic, and a true reflection of their love for each other. They couldn’t have chosen a better reception venue to fit their personalities and represent them as a couple. Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas, is a bit of a hidden gem. Tucked within the Ozark forest, its innovative setting, architectural wonders, countless art pieces, and serene outdoor areas and walking trails, creates a sophisticated feel, a luxurious experience, and a peaceful atmosphere. It was an incredible honor to document the beginning of Sam and Nicole’s journey together and work alongside such a phenomenal group of wedding professionals who helped to bring their dream wedding to life. This engagement session was more than just a photo shoot, it was an adventure! We wondered through the peaceful pasture where they ride their horses. We got caught in a downpour, and took cover under a beautiful mulberry tree. Then as the rain cleared just before sunset, we chased the sun up a hill. I absolutely loved getting to know this fun nature-loving, free-spirited couple. And getting to document their unique true connection at a place that’s significant to them was such a joy. You know you’ve had a great adventure shoot when you leave with grass stained pants, muddy shoes, soggy clothes, and priceless unforgettable photos. Very much looking forward to capturing Megan and Judah’s special wedding day in September 🥰.

A small intimate wedding + a free-spirited adventurous couple + romantic rainy skies = unforgettable photos and one super excited (and drenched) photographer. ☔️😁📷🌿🌧️ It down poured nonstop during Michaela and Bruce’s wedding day. And I just love how theyremained in such great spirits, kept their love for each other the focus, and had the best day ever, in spite of the rain. No one ever hopes for rain, but there’s always a chance. If Mother Nature throws you a curve ball, embrace it 💦! What’s more romantic and soothing than rain? Rainy weather on your wedding day could be great for creating a magical, cozy, and fun atmosphere surrounded by the beauty of nature. Not to mention, rainy day weddings make the most epic stories! They’re full of unique details, spontaneous happenings, creativity, and extra comical moments. Rain in the forecast can stir up a lot of anxiety and potential last minute shifts needing to be made. But when it comes to your photos, don’t you worry! Just make sure to hire a photographer who knows how to handle different elements, go with the flow, and have fun doing it 😉. My mentality as a wedding photographer is that it’s not just about the photos, it’s about the experience! I always have lots of ideas to make a rainy day shoot fun, sweet, and creative; to deliver great photos that remind you of the unforgettable experience ❤️. Michaela and Bruce were such a joy to work with. And the rain wasn’t going to stop us! Their wedding was one I’ll truly never forget.
