Is your favourite fic you mentioned in your A tier DDD book post “A Conversation Between Isabella and Angeline”??? If so, I’m the author and omg im so overjoyed to hear that you like it so much!!! I’ve kinda forgotten about DDD for a little while bc i got busy w other things but it really means a lot to hear that from THE dear dumb diary blogger! <3

I have a couple questions for you as a fic writer:

After you’re done with your current ongoing DDD fic, do you have any future fic plans? Based on your blog, it seems like you like Wenid. Any chance of a Wenid fic?

And are there any fic ideas you have that you would rather read than write?

OH MY GOD. THIS MADE MY DAY. YES I ADORE YOUR FIC SO SO MUCH ive reread it so many times for inspo you have nooo idea.

I do adore wenclair its actually my favorite ship of all time (unfortunately.) so that’s why its the only other fandom ship that bled onto this purely DDD otherwise blog lol- im scared to do a wenclair fic mostly bc as a writer i like to know all possible things about something before i confidently write for it (which is why i read every DDD book + every fic + all jim benton interviews abt anjamie). If i ever do publish one, itll definitely be after season 2 airs and im gonna do an addams family rewatch to get my lore straight!

Im very stuck on my current ddd fic rn which is why it hasnt updated in…months. I wouldnt mind making another fic for the fandom bc i love these books and im so sure i could come up with a million ideas, i would just need to decide if L&P has to come first and im very shy about it right now HA

Fic ideas: feel free to send me another ask to reclarify, but strictly ddd speaking i can never get enougj of the fake dating trope and theres already an anjamie fic on that (hooray!) but one thats more like focused on Hudson or something would be cool! Maybe even bringing in colette bc im an advocate for more colette screentime.

I could probably choose a bunch of scenes from the books i would rewrite to be yuri-inclined as easy content, like Jamie’s birthday book where angeline is literally centering the whole school around jamies interests. Idk. literally i would sit down and read anything besides the crossover fics in the tag. Im so desperate.

I never expected anyone to ask abt future ideas i might have so you really surprised me! Ill probably start thinking of more now, thanks for igniting that love i have for the series again and thank you for the ask :D
