If a person tells you that you're the reason why they do it, don't reply them to do it for themself. They know that, and they said that because it makes them happy. They've likely spent their time doing it alone—for themself, and doing it for somebody else makes it so much worth it.

I remembered when people said they wanted to date me, and when they did, they gave up not less than a week because of how rarely I replied. I told them I was ready, but they misunderstood the concept, thinking that I said, "I'll always have time for you." in a different way.

Every time my parents misunderstand the words that come out my mouth, I automatically think of how I'll respond if I were in their position. They tend to react instead of act appropriately because of "problems."
Ever since I turned 14, I imagined of having a daughter. Until now, I talk to myself, picturing a beautiful life with her. When I opened up to my about this, she told me about her past and how she became a mother to me. It was a long story, but her point was to become someone not like her mother and to become a mother unlike her mother. I had the same thought as her, but—what went wrong then?
My mother and I went through different paths. I suppose it's understandable that she can't see herself in my shoes. When I start to understand my mom, it became clear that she was just trying to become a good parent, but to the child she was and not me.
