So I’m in Minneapolis right now, and decided to visit the art museum. Y’all I need to show you what I just found in a collection of Dutch paintings.

Look at the boy’s eyes and smile.

Y’all.

I’ve seen that face before. On more than one person. Those exact eyes, that exact smile.

HE HAS DOWN SYNDROME.

He’s the focal point of this painting, or more precisely his fish is, and he’s got Down syndrome.

This is from the 1600s, y’all.

“Where were the disabled people back then” FISHING, APPARENTLY.

Disabled people have always been here. You just have to look.

Two days ago, that momentous time in April blessed us once more: the anniversary of Neil banging out his tunes. It's been 19 years, and Neil still brings us joy each year in April, famously the cruelest of months. In celebration of this fact, some art was created. just wanna quickly make a post to pin, this is gonna be a blog for my ..... mightysona? Though MN9 vibes also work well for a Megaman or even Astro Boy ‘sona. I was apart of the kickstarter for the game Mighty No. 9, which I do not regret in the slightest despite how things went, and as part of my rewards, I was granted a mighty no. of my own -- 35629. So! I finally had the thought that I could create a blog themed on my lil bot and just reblog a bunch of other robot content, like Astro Boy, Jetter Mars, BotBots, Megaman, and of course, Mighty No. 9, etc. [The game is actually of appropriate quality for the asking price for it n_n;;; because it's priced like a lil indie game.... That being said, the game is a JOY to play; the mechanics are so slick, it's absolutely lovely, and I wish I was better at video games so I could progress further into the game :'3]

Alfie is a companion class robot rabbit-boy, designed to comfort, entertain and otherwise care for one specific child that they are bonded with.
