How to get an image of your Mii from your Nintendo systems:

On Nintendo 3DS​ or 2DS:

Ensure there is an SD Card inserted into the Nintendo 3DS or 2DS before continuing.

Select the Mii Maker icon on the HOME Menu, and tap "Open."

Tap the "QR Code/Image Options" button.

Tap "Save Mii as Image."

Select the desired Mii Character, press "OK," and select "Face."

On Wii U​:

Ensure there is an SD Card inserted into the Wii U before continuing.

From the Wii U Menu, select "Mii Maker."

Tap "QR Code/Image Options."

Tap "Save Mii as Image."

Select the desired Mii Character, press "Create," and select "Face."

Once you've saved the image of your Mii to the SD Card, you can copy the image from your SD Card to your computer, or you can upload it directly from your Nintendo 3DS via the Internet Browser (uploading images saved to an SD Card isn't supported on the Wii U Internet Browser).

The easiest way to upload photos from your Nintendo 3DS is to visit Nintendo Image Share (https://i.nintendo.net/) from the Nintendo 3DS Internet Browser, where you can upload photos from your SD Card directly to Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr.

If you'd like, you can even get creative and use an image of your Mii from games that utilize Mii characters, such as Tomodachi Life​, Animal Crossing​: New Leaf, Super Smash Bros.​ for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Nintendo Land, Mario Kart​ 8, and more! You can use an image that you've shared to Miiverse (https://miiverse.nintendo.net/), or you can upload a screenshot from suspended software on Wii U directly to Twitter, Facebook, or Tumblr by visiting Nintendo Image Share (https://i.nintendo.net/) from the Wii U Internet Browser.

We're in the final stretch of Mii March, and these last few days are the most important! The end of March marks not only the anniversary of the international release of the Nintendo 3DS and StreetPass (which just turned 5 years old!), but also the debut of many StreetPass groups around the world that emerged around the same time (including @streetpassaz, the first group to celebrate Mii March). And, of course, the end of March marks the release of Miitomo, which should be releasing outside of Japan within the next few days! If you haven't already participated in Mii March, now's the time to join in, even if it's only for a few days!

Mr. Mii March made his first Miifoto in Miitomo! Miitomo is coming soon as a free download for iOS and Android devices, and it's the ultimate way to get images of your Mii characters. It's showing up a bit late for Mii March, but there's no better way to end this month of Miis than by celebrating with Miifotos! Miitomo is here! For Japan, that is. The international release shouldn't be too far behind, though! Taking Miifotos in Miitomo will surely be an excellent way to celebrate Mii March, and Mr. Mii March is already excited to share his Miifotos with you!

Mr. Mii March is revisiting Mii Maker on Wii U as his journey through games featuring Mii characters has come to an end for now. That is, until Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for Nintendo 3DS and Miitomo release later this month! Have you been inspired to get creative for Mii March by Mr. Mii March's examples? Or maybe you prefer to stick with a basic image of your Mii from Mii Maker? There is no wrong answer as long as you're proudly displaying your Mii this month!

Mr. Mii March is visiting the world of Toy Pokémon in Pokémon Rumble World for Nintendo 3DS! You can download the game for free from the Nintendo eShop and take pictures of your Mii character alongside your Toy Pokémon for Mii March!

Mr. Mii March has been visiting games in order of release date so far, but he forgot about ol' Rusty Slugger! To fix that, he's checking out the Nontendo 4DS with Rusty Jr. now in Rusty's Real Deal Baseball, available as a free download from the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS!
