it's also funny because my brother did smth like this and ran face-first into a street sign, and the whole pole rung like a damn bell

you might catch a quick smile crossing his face before it drops, but that's about it

if you need to hide your embarrassment from any passers by, he'll gladly hug you and try to soothe you

he will never forget that he saw it happen, though

the only downside is that he couldn't get it on camera

hyouma has one singular outburst before he'a able to control himself

usually he's so put together, but he's the kind of person who thinks that stuff like that only happens in cartoons

and it's not his fault because he was raised to be a reasonably calm person by reasonably calm people

he worries over your poor face, though. he'll be a lot more concerned if there's a lot of bruising from the impact, or if you cut yourself

he's very serious when it comes to injuries, even stuff like that

he might even want you to go to the doctor's office to make sure nothing is fractured in your face - just as a precaution

fails miserably

he'll feel bad for laughing (but that won't stop him from laughing regardless)

isagi can very easily soothe your spirits about the mishap - and lets you hide your face in his jacket if you really want

if your head hurts, he probably carries around painkillers and water all the time, so you're covered there

genuinely so refreshing and calm to be around, and the accident is quickly put behind you when he's around

he will undeniably LAUGH in your FACE about it

and he won't feel even the slightest bit bad about it

which only makes it funnier when it eventually happens to him, when he's goofing around and not looking where he's going

it'll likely happen within an hour of your own accident, if not two

and then YOU get to be the one that laughs at him

he's definitely gonna use it for blackmail

now, there's no telling if he's ever going to need it, or use it in any case, but he always wants to make sure

just in case, y'know

you don't even know he has it, tucked away in a photo full of embarrassing photos and text messages that should sooner never see the light of day

so basically isagi’s new soccer power is “literally just adhd”

I like that Isagi has compassion but no empathy. I think we need more low empathy protagonists because, low empathy doesn't make you a bad person persay and it's important to make the distinction.

Like Isagi is veryyy compassionate, he listens to his teammates, he tries to welcome back kunigami instead of ignoring him, he wants to get/understand others. He isn't some emotionless monster, despite his ego.

But he does not have empathy, he can never fully put himself in someone else's cleats. He can only analytically guess what they're going to do based on previous knowlage. He's always a little taken off guard by bursts of emotion on the field and usually gives up trying to help those people because he can't directly pick up on what they are feeling.

That's why he is the perfect foil to Rin, he never gets sucked up in his whirlwind of emotions. He'll be there for you but Isagi will never feel with you. And that doesn't make him a bad person.

i truly believe that anri’s long term goal is to establish another blue lock project after the first one (successfully ?) wraps up, but this time - for female players

i just know so so bad i feel it in my bones i swear that anri has her own personal experiences playing soccer. so no matter how much it makes her want to grind her teeth to dust to be picking up after these boys, she’ll play the part of the silly little pretty manager for now, filing away every single advice and teaching ego has to give with greed.

so when the real show starts, when the time comes for her to pick the most savage and hungry and entitled girls out there playing football, she’ll be prepared. she’ll know exactly how to make them tick and bounce off each other to become the world’s best.

blue lock is so stupid im obsessed with it. sixty percent of you guys would be ten times better at midfield. this whole project is definitely illegal like are they all just skipping school for months that can’t be legal. the rin/sae conflict was building up to be this mysterious tragic event and it was just that sae’s the only person in the whole entire manga who can understand that some people are better at midfielder. reo needs to redistribute his fucking wealth instead of having a gay crisis in soccer hell. there is an on-page comparison of the soccer goal to a womb. one character vanished for several chapters and came back looking and acting like he’d literally been deployed to war this is not an exaggeration. i’m pretty sure every character needs therapy but i can’t even begin to figure out what for

• This boy is very confident, he doesn't care what people think about him

• Like a true extrovert he has no problem chatting with anyone he finds interesting

• Your relationship dynamic is the classic example of an extrovert adopting an anxious introvert

• Bachira doesn't have a clue how you feel, he can't understand how can you be afraid to talk to someone new, yet alone be in a space full of people

• But he will try his best to understand you and your feelings

• Bachira would try to get you out of awkward situations and would do the most talking if you don't feel like it

• Like Bachira, Sae is really confident in himself but in a different sense

• He just knows that he is the shit, a talented young footballer who the whole world wants

• At first Sae just thought you were shy, throwing it off as just a cute trait

• But when the two of you got together he realized how serious it was

• He couldn't get why someone like you would feel so anxious about socializing, I mean you did manage to get him to fall for you so you have to be special

• Sae would truly try to understand you, he would listen to you pouring out your feelings about the world and your fears

• He tries his best to reassure you that: no you don't look stupid, your opinions matter and you shouldn't feel afraid of others' perception of you

• There is no reason for you to be afraid of people staring at you, you are just stunning in every way

• Sae would hold your hand in public and you can bet your ass he wouldn't hold back if he feels like someone is looking at you in a weird way

• If you ever feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed he would quickly take you out of that situation, making sure to take you somewhere safe and quiet

• We all know that Sae is famous so dating him comes with some challenges, like paparazzi practically blinding you with their flashy cameras, so the two of you wouldn't go out that much until you get more comfortable

• Sae has no problem telling the paparazzi off, but you always stop him fearing for his reputation. He really doesn't care tho

• But for your sake he always holds back on them. Until they cross a certain line that is

• He would hug you and  reassure you that he is there for you and that you are out of that stressful situation
