1. kindergarten

katsuki bakugou at the ripe age of five was a force to be reckoned with. he was loud, expressive, never wanted to listen to anyone but himself. he was the type of kid that didn’t take criticism from any adult other than his own parents, the type of kid that would throw his crayons back at you when you scold him for using his indoor voice. and katsuki bakugou could never be wrong in an argument. it was simply his way or the highway.

you were five back then, too, but you never really saw bakugou as anything more than a peer. many kids stayed away, except for a handful of kids that admired him. but he was scary to the others who were softer in heart. you never really paid him any mind, though. to you, he was too loud. obnoxious even, though you didn’t know that word at the time. all you knew was that he was loud, and his gruff, high pitched, childish voice hurt your ears when he spoke to his legion of boys he called his friends. aside from them, bakugou was feared.

so when he fell face first onto the pavement one day at recess, no one came to his aid.

As of lately Katsuki had been acting.. well.. differently.

Less irritable and more distracted/distant— something was wrong with that bitch.

The bakusquad was gonna get to the bottom of this.

Their “plan?”

Stalking the boy all week.

This was quickly abandoned though, after bakugo had caught them everyday. 

running away was becoming tiresome for the four of them.

They decided to just look after him stalk him during class instead— watching him like a hawk.

They were just about to give up again until the last day of the week.

The final bell rang, as students hurriedly shuffled out of class. Kami, kiri, sero and Mina following suit, stopping to spy on bakugo outside the classroom doors.

bakugo had often been the last to leave nowadays— the bakusquad was about to figure out why.

As they peered over the door separating the hallway and classroom they saw it.

tilted back in his chair, bakugo was sat talking to you.

Y/n l/n the most lovable person in all of class 1-A. The prettiest little thing, with such a charismatic personality.

You sat right behind bakugo, deku I’m sorry we took your seat his head placed on your desk as your fingers brushed through his hair— bakugo swatting yours hands lazily.

You two were conversing whether or not to study in his room or yours.

The four stood dumbfounded

Like wtf, how did this feral ass bitch get a girlfriend like you? How did they not notice? When was he ever interested in girls? Poor kirishima?

first kiss was a trip, you both leaned in several times but kept getting interrupted, so Katsuki finally just stopped waiting for a right time and kissed you. 

let me tell you, he fell in love with kisses. 

he was always like “whats the hype?” but after his first one he realized he never wanted to stop kissing you. 

Cuddling was secretly his favorite, but don’t tell anyone unless you want them to get blown up.

Whenever he’d want cuddles he’d rather say “oi come here” Than the actual word.

“That’s such an embarrassing word y/n, I’m not saying that shit.”

he was a total softie around you, but only you. 

to him, yes his pride was important, but you were above it all.

Synopsis: When Shoto finds someone else you were left to express your sorrow through a letter in which he’d never receive. 

You remembered it all too well, his lips that tasted of vanilla and mint. His calloused palms that exuded a subtle warmth when graced upon your cheek. The “little” dates where you always had to argue that wherever you went, you’d always be happy as long as it was with him. lastly, you remembered the feeling of falling in love and the feeling of losing him.

There was one part of your guys relationship that you didn’t need to remember though, this was because throughout your time spent together you has compiled a plethora of letter written by Shoto and addressed to yourself. You kept them in a small tan shoe box tucked away under your bed, bundled together in a red ribbon that once was attached to a present Shoto gifted you. They all contained his adoration for you, in which he couldn’t find the words to express in person. He’d leave them in various places without your knowledge, knowing you’d find them unexpectedly when the time came.

“you’re so sweet Shoto, I’ll make sure to write you one of these days huh?.” You held the folded piece of paper between your fingers as your hands wrapped behind his neck. “You don’t have to, all I need is right in front of me.”

You leaned down bracing yourself as tears threaten to prick your eyes. Tugging the familiar box, you placed it on your lap brushing the layer of accumulated dust. This had represented the best days of your life, The days in which feeling lonely had never been an issue and sleepless nights of doubt were little to non. 

you hovered over the hundreds of letters, Sorrow washed over your body, the weight on your chest was a horrid feeling. Picking up the bundle you carefully tugged at one end, unraveling the letters that contained your past. 

Each was written on a different style of paper, yet had the same neat handwriting signed off with “love, Shoto”. You shuffled through the bunch reading each one. A dry feeling in your mouth and tightening of your lungs begged you to stop, though you couldn't bring yourself to let go. finally you landed on a letter different from the rest. 

a simple white sheet, written in black ink and signed off with “love, Y/n.” 

Dear Shoto,

You always told me that you wrote letters because finding the right words to say was hard. I guess In my case I have all the right words yet, I can’t bare to speak them to you. Shoto, you broke my heart and the funny thing is I can’t bring myself to love you any less. Maybe it was ignorant of me to think that young love could last more than a lifetime. I can’t tell you what was worse, me holding on to you knowing that you were bond to go or actually letting you go. Months on end on I was made fool for believing in us, maybe I should have let go sooner. I just couldn’t, I didn’t want you us end, albeit we had already came to our end in an unspoken truth. A couples months before everything I wondered, what she had that I didn’t until I realized she had you. I was yours but you were no longer mine. I’m sorry for holding you back, sho. I should’ve let go, we should’ve let go. Though, I wanna know why? Why did you wait so long to end things? You knew you loved her the moment I was second priority. So what took so long? You didn’t want to hurt me, but you knew you were. You looked at me with pity in your eyes. You looked at me like I was your burden. Shoto, if you were planning on leaving why couldn’t you just leave me all at once? Why couldn’t you have saved me the heartache?.. I could’ve saved myself as well and I understand that I was so selfishly in love with you. I know you never wanted to hurt me, the hearts wants what it wants and in end if that wasn’t me I’m still endlessly happy for you Todo. Though I’m sad ill support you always, I wish you the best.

You stared at the sheet of paper in front of you, old tear stains and new ones littered  the surface making the a paper a mess. You sighed in fustration, scoffing at yourself. You wanted nothing more than to forget your love for him. Adjusting your posture and closing your eyes you began to quickly crumple all the letters. Shakily you stood up from the floor moving towards the desk placed in the corner of your room, grabbing one last letter that was new and neatly placed in a torn envelope. “Oi,” You heard a yell from your doorway but refused to move from your bed, buried under the comforter as your back rested against the headboard. Bakugou didn’t wait for your reply before he’d barged into your room, angry eyes glaring towards ready to hurl an insult when he took note of the state you were currently in, his gaze immediately softening at the sight of you as he closed the door behind him.

“What the fuck happened?” Bakugou’s voice was still harsh as he stepped closer to you, your tears continuing to fall down your face as you made a feeble attempt to rub them away, shaking your head at his question.

“Baby,” He sat down facing you, his hand moving out to rest behind your neck, stroking the skin gently as he tried to angle his head to make eye contact with you, “C’mere,” He mumbled, slowly pulling you towards him as you buried your head into his chest, his chin coming to rest on top of your head.

Your hands immediately grabbed his shirt between tight fists, dampening the material as silent sobs wracked through your body. Bakugou’s grip on your neck was consistent as his other hand moved to stroke soothing circles against your back, rocking you gently as he waited for you to get it all out. 

“It’s okay, whatever it is.” He mumbled into your hair, pressing a kiss on top of your head as he continued to hold you close, trying to stop your body from shaking.

The thoughts had already consumed your mind, overthinking every word said. You just wanted to forget, to ignore the ebbing doubt in the back of your mind. You knew that Bakugou was trying to stay calm, that he wanted nothing more than to rip from you the reason you were so sad at this moment, and do everything in his power to fix it. Bakugou Katsuki had made it known to you when you first started dating that regardless of his outward persona of being a hard headed, inconsiderate, uncaring jerk that he was nothing like that around you. The amount of times your friends would question your relationship with the explosive boy, or how you could ever fall for ‘someone like that’, but it was in these moments where you wished you could show everyone this side of him. He was your protector, your rock, your everything.

“Hey, look at me.” Bakugou moved to pull you away from his chest, his expression void of his usual scowl, instead concerned wide eyes looked down at you as his thumbs moved to brush away the tear lines from your cheeks as he held your face. His warm palms already sending a comforting ebb throughout your body as you leaned into his touch, Bakugou’s lips placing a gentle kiss against your brow, hushing you softly.

“You don’t have to tell me,” You knew the words pained him to say, his first instinct was to find out exactly what caused your anguish and destroy it, “But just tell me what I can do?”

“Please just hold me,” Your voice hoarse from crying so much, eyes watching Bakugou as he reacted without so much as a second thought, sliding his slippers off to climb under the duvet to join you.

“Move over, shitty woman.” Strong arms immediately encircled you, one arm slipping under your head as the other wrapped around your waist. Warmth immediately engulfing your entire body as you snuggled into his touch, tangling your legs with his own as you fought to be impossibly close to him, wanting to forget everything that had happened, if only for a little while. Bakugou continued to mumble comforting words into your ear, his breath fanning your face as he kept drawing random patterns on your back. Your arms circled his strong waist, slipping under the hem of his shirt to feel the skin on his strong back as you took in his comforting scent. 

“I’m sorry about your shirt,” You mumbled, your cheek pressed against the wet patch your tears had created.

“Doesn’t fucking matter,” He scoffed, pressing a lingering kiss against your temple.

You lay in silence with Bakugou’s arms wrapped securely around your frame, the steady beat of his heart mixed with the rise and fall of his chest was lulling you to sleep, the exhaustion of your tears finally catching up to you as you felt yourself drifting towards sleep. Your eyelids heavy as you pressed the pads of your fingers against Bakugou’s back, moving your head to look into his eyes.

“Can you stay?”

“‘m not going anywhere.” Bakugou’s grip tightened on your figure, the arm under your neck moving to wrap around your shoulders, angling his head to give your lips a chaste kiss.

“I’m probably all snotty,” You sniffled, rubbing your nose with the hem of your sweater.

“So?” He scoffed, “You’re not getting rid of me that easy, dumbass.”

Synopsis: when the group has a movie night in the common rooms how does your boyfriend usually react?

Shoto Todoroki:

Shoto is sooo cute

He will always save you a spot right next to him, if somone sit there then he’ll very politely tell them to fuck off.

It’s a untold thing, so no one really sit next to Shoto, knowing they’ll have to move for you. Unless, they wanna have a quick conversation before the movie starts.

PDA isnt big for you two, holding hands and hugging is the most you’ll do.

But, when the lights are off and everyone’s focus is on the movie you already know Shoto needs to touch you.

If you guys find a space on the couch? Your legs are on his lap and his hands are resting on your thighs.

Either that or if he’s feeling more needy he’ll just pull you into his lap entirely.

Though, he does wanna respect everyone so this doesn’t happen often.

No one really thinks it’s too much though, you guys are soooo cute to everyone.

Maybe except bakuhoe for obvious reason & iida bc school regulations and stuff

Iida makes an expectation for his two friend though.

He likes tracing little hearts on your skin out of habit, like an “I love you” without saying it.

If you guys are sitting on the floor? You’ll sit between his legs leaning on his chest, his arms wrapped around your abdomen.

He’ll feed you popcorn even though you’re full, he likes feeding you.

lowkey he’ll pick out the un-popped pieces from the bowl and pop them between his fingers, smiling really slightly when you laugh.

Somtimes he’ll whisper questions in your ear during the movie because he doenst understand what happening. Like “why does that boy like his dad so much??” Or “does that guy like her?”

Somtimes when he gets bored he just drops his head on your shoulder and picks it back up repeatedly, legitimately just to get your attention. he’s usually pretty invested unless it’s a really shitty movie.

Shoto gets im sleepy halfway through

You can tell when he’s tried by his grip on you loosening a tad and him trying to get more comfortable by nuzzling his head into you.

If he falls asleep, you’ll wait till the end of the movie to wake him up gently kissing his jaw.

All the girls, kaminari, kirishima, Mineta, and izuku are peering over the corner just gushing over the adorable scene.

He’ll groan a little and asked “what happened?” and you’ll just giggle standing up and grabbing his hand to go get ready for bed.

Sleepy todo is the most cuddly baby ever

So he’ll follow you around until it’s time to sleep again :)

Somtimes if you both fall asleep no one has the heart to wake you guys up, opting for taking picture instead.

Iida usually stops the nonsense and wakes you two up though, he cares too much to let you both wake up aching. We love you Iida.

Overall group movie nights are 10/10 and ensure cuddles with a soft todo.

Ofc Katsuki doesn’t have to save you a spot lol, the only ppl brave enough to sit next to the explosive boy is the bakusquad. Even then, they know to give you space.

Honestly just like todo he isn’t big on pda, like you’re his and everyone already knows.

he only needs to further prove that when he’s jealous.

But movie nights when he’s bored out of his mind from the lame movie the gang chose, he needs you to keep him entertained.

He’ll have an arm wrapped around you, no ones looking but he’s trying to be tuff ahha.

After awhile though, he’ll just loosen up and love on you.

You nuzzle into his side placing one hand on his thigh. Which makes him kinda blushy.

Somtimes he gets really invested in the movie and tells people to shut up if they’re talking too much.

But when he’s not so invested, he’s playing with your hair and whispering in your ear trying to make you laugh.

Something bakugo does that no one really knows about? when he’s bored he’ll just absentmindedly picks up a chuck of your hair and braids it. He’s good.

One time during movie night kaminari saw this this and freaked the fuck out, which caused everyone else to.

Next thing you know bakugo gently removes himself from you and a firework show in the common room blew out a light.

He’s KiNda obnoxious

“S/o.. baby.. open your mouth.”

“Katsuki stop throwing popcorn at me.”

When bakugo gets tired/bored he’ll just pull you onto himself and just fall asleep on your shoulder.

Everyone swears they’ve never seen him so peaceful.

You’ll wait till everyone “leaves” before waking him up, you wouldn’t wanna hurt his pride by letting everyone see him so baby.

They see him baby anyways because they’re spying on you two.

The whole gang is still there around the corner telling each other to stfu

Kirishima thinks it’s so manly when bakugo acts vulnerable.

To wake up the boy, you’ll gently push him with your shoulder and turn his head to give him a quick peck on the lips.

He’ll wake up pretty easily and hug you tighter before mumbling into your neck and placing kisses there.

Mina is taking a video of the whole ordeal.

You finally get bakugo to let go, before having to pull his arm to get him off the couch as he chuckles as your lame attempts.

That is until bakugo sees shadows near the corner.

Oh no.
