watching youtube through a proxy viewer is one of the best new experiences I've had in a while. it's fast, it's feature-rich, and it only lets me see one video at a time so it's actively stopping my adhd from overriding my ability to focus

i love second language accents its so wonderful to me that you can become fluent in a whole new language but wont usually pronounce all the words the same way native speakers do. your first language will almost always flavor it in some way or another. i dont know im sure theres poetry in there somewhere.

Adora: so, it's a cleaning outfit, but you can't clean in it.

Glimmer: _Maid_ outfit.

Adora: the actual maids don't wear this.

Glimmer: No, it's... I doesn't have anything to do with cleaning. It's a... Ya know. Sex thing.

Adora, frowning: it is? But it's all... Poofy.

Glimmer, defensively: there's nothing wrong with poof!

Adora holds the maid outfit up to thoughtfully. She summons her She-Ra powers to transform her clothes into a maid outfit, and considers the results.

Adora: It doesn't make me look strong... I guess my legs look nice? What do you think?

Glimmer: Glck.

Adora: Glimmer?

Adora turns around, letting Glimmer see the front.

Glimmer: GLCK

Adora: Really? Catra, what do you--

Catra has passed out on the floor. Adora turns her clothes back to normal and hands the maid outfit back to Glimmer

Adora: why isn't anyone else turned on by normal things? Like fangs or tails?

Glimmer: HAHA haha yeah, totally, I wasn't-- I'm fine.

Glimmer takes the outfit. She holds it up, thinking about trying it on herself.

Glimmer: Where'd you find this outfit anyway?

Adora: it was in your mother's room.

Glimmer:

Glimmer: I don't know why the cleaning staff would put one of their uniforms in there.

Adora: I mean it was probably your mom's

Glimmer: I DON'T KNOW WHY THE CLEANING STAFF WOULD DO SUCH A THING

Who wants to read my fave metaphor for Catra and Adora's relationship?

Imagine vines that were planted next to each other, but nobody ever gave them a proper trellis for support as they grow. So they just grow up twisted into each other because they only have each other. And it's tricky to separate them without harming them, but the situation still isn't good for either of them. Neither of them are getting enough sunlight.

And then they did get separated, but instead of carefully being untangled, they were just forced apart--and yeah, it hurt them both. They lost some metaphorical leaves in the process, had some of their vines broken.

And even as those spots heal, there's still going to be scars. You'll still be able to tell they were tangled together, at first.

Post-canon they do have a trellis (aka the love and support of other people) and so they can keep growing together but in a healthier way.

I may have pushed this metaphor to the breaking point but it's accurate!
