Closing out 2022 with a bang. This year has been one of the hardest for me personally, luckily the stress didn’t kill me💀 and the sleepless nights were all worth it after finally securing @outliftathletics future by purchasing 20,400 sqft of commercial real estate to expand and take @outliftathletics to an entirely new level for 2023! - The amount of unnecessary shit I dealt with behind closed doors this year was the most grueling of all my years alive. There were many times I felt completely defeated, depressed beyond explanation, and couldn’t get out of bed to motivate myself to continue fighting but I forced myself to get the fuck up and move. - Hitting obstacle after obstacle gets exhausting, people lie to your face with a smile thinking you’re gullible enough to believe the shit they just feed you actually taste good. I’ve learned Life is going to feed you shit from time to time, so keep your damn mouths closed and don’t eat it! Instead…Focus, keep your ears and eyes open but work in silence, dont hope for a path forward, make a path forward for whatever you want to accomplish no matter how impossible it may seem. For 2023 I will build the sickest gym for my community and you ain’t stopping me unless you kill me, and even in the afterlife I’m gonna find a way lmao 🤣 - Happy new year everyone! Some shots from this past weeks projects. Growing up under this incredible man’s roof has taught me some of the most valuable lessons of my life. I’ve never met anyone else in my life besides my Grandpa and my Dad who have literally never paid anyone to help them do anything and have taken on every and any project or obstacle big or small themselves. - I can’t say that I 100% agree with this idea because I quite often pay people to help me in areas I’m not an expert in but by helping my grandpa and dad growing up and continuing to assist my father in whatever obstacle pops up next I’ve learned why being a Jack of all trades is often better than a master of one. - There’s always something extremely rewarding about completing any job, figuring out a solution, and doing the work yourself. Plus you can avoid being ripped off and taken advantage of because when you know nothing about a particular subject and have zero knowledge with no mileage you’ll be much more agreeable to stupid shit! - My dad was quoted something bogus on replacing his hot water heater which we replaced in a nights work and saved $3,500 in parts and labor and we couldn’t believe how that price was justifiable for this particular job which was actually very simple and even fun to complete. My favorite 😂 was the video I posted of the pipes vibrating and basically farting from the air pressure in the new tank. - Moral of the story, taking the time and having patience to resolve your problems and work on your own shit will always be better than relying on others to fix them. Sure there are many instances in which this rule does not apply but for the most part this is accurate so choose wisely! - Side note. After replacing the water heater we got all the boats in the water for the season and cleaned the beach as a massive pollen cloud took over the entire lake. First time ever seeing this! If you’ve never been to longhouse reserve I highly recommend visiting. @macho_machino caught the zoomies multiple times on our trip, we went on a ton of trails and he even got a dip in the ocean.
