TRUMP PENCE 2020 • No matter what your politics are... An election is more than who is the president..., It's about the policies and decisions that will be made by the people in the presidential team, they draft the laws, it's a decision that will change your life and your future. It affects the air you breathe, the water you drink, how much money you make and how you will be allowed to do with that money. It defines you by defining your freedoms. Anyone who thinks politics is boring and shouldn't be talked about is a dunce or thinks they are above political policies. 18 Deadly desires #31daysofhalloweenprompt #purgehendrixprompt • • Catching up slowly but surely. Who watched the latest US Democratic debate? I'm not even American but gosh...I had to... there are people who wait for the world cup, Eurocup and there are people like me who start to get hyped up for all that US election drama two years before the primaries. (I mean who wouldn't) Even though there are way to many people still in the race.. see I like politics so I know exactly who these people are... I don't know how an average Joe would be able to differentiate the strong from the weak.. some people need to get off the stage, run for senator and try again in 4 years. Except for Bernie I don't think his heart can withstand the hype around him as it is. Phew! That's my little rant of the day. The debate inspired this poem, we can listen to politicians debate over the 1% controlling too much, (Lord knows I'm a sucker for Bernie.. I prayed for her to come back. I prayed for my bride to walk down the aisle, stand at my side, anything to get away from these pitying looks and awkward smiles. She's been missing three days. I'm still praying, bring her back. I'll give anything for her to be in my arms. There is a knock at the door. I can see nothing outside but a lone shadowey figure, My heart races. Lament for the last believers, written in the stars, shines a dark omen, wise men often, see the future written on the pages of the past, helpless to hinder each civilization, madmen left to chisel, sins on headstones, megaliths foretell inevitable destruction, where darkness overcomes, when man no longer lifts his eyes up to heaven, the herd leads itself to ritual slaughter at last. • I was reading Graham Hancock's "Magicians of the Gods" and this spilled out. I love when my fascination for history, mythology and religion produces little nuggets of whatever this is. (Doomsday literature?!) The poem is actually quite long. Why do we refuse to believe that people can fall in love just as easily (and quickly) as they can fall out of love? I blame Instagram 💯 for limiting my activity. I am convinced I will be able to catch up on everything. • My parents ask me all the time now to just marry, get settled, when will this happen Michelle? If marriage/ long term relationships were as easy as just deciding to settle down and just get on with it, for the sake of being with someone. I would be surrounded by happier role models growing up. It's such an odd thing, I don't even have high standards. I just want to live happily with someone who isn't physically or emotionally abusive. That's the line. But it seems I have to break away from quite an ingrained inheritance. (what can I say... True crime is way better than fiction, it has a bit of everything, family drama, teen pregnancy, someone mistakenly eating Belladonna and tripping hard for three days in the desert, kids running away from home, a family trying to keep bad kid from getting worse, chasing fame in Hollywood, the Haight in the the 60s, even a beach boy has a role in the tale) Sigh* I'm such a True Crime Junkie. The world is full of lost, broken souls. Easy prey to some people, those who emit a sort of aura, a magnetism, black holes in human form, sucking in any soul that strays too close. A little horror micro story. Enjoy! • Day 5 : Child's play #31daysofhalloweenprompt #purgehendrixprompt • If you aren't sometimes disturbed by little children, you haven't spent enough time with them, or you probably aren't listening to them. Don't get me wrong, I love little kids, I will take the oddness for their sweet laughs any day. What I don't love however are their imaginary friends (Billy likes you Aunty Michelle, he wants to be your friend.
