Ah I absolutely and entirely misunderstood your argument at first. I agree this is something that will have a negative affect on the movement I’ve just seen lots of people just disguising“slut shaming” for lack of better words because sluts really don’t exist as being feminist you very clearly are not one of those people and this is a discussion that we need to have I apologize for jumping to conclusions!
embarassing, get the fuck up off of the floor. you’re not a dog. so tired of this “sexually emancipated female liberated pop music” and artists as if any sort of respect is gained for women by having sex and submitting to men. so let’s get this clear, she infantilizes herself, humps the stage, dresses like a toddler and now likens herself to a dog. get some fucking self respect.
her album is called, “man’s best friend.” 😐

Glad we agree and thanks for the conversation!
😁
i’m just gonna address this here, because this touches upon something within the debate on single-sex spaces that i’ve been thinking about pretty frequently as of late.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
well first of all, tumblr user @mikusaysbegoneterf, i have a quote for the situation presented by the meme that may be of use when discussing this topic.
Tumblr media
^ fantastic quote, thank you.
next, let's debunk your claims.
the meme does not explicitly claim that the genital inspector women are lesbians, that is true. what tumblr user @butchpeace was pointing out was that this trope mimics a very common anti-lgb stereotype commonly used against lgb women to paint us as predators. a good percentage of gender critical feminists just so happen to be lesbians and bi women, so of course we will point out this trope when we see it.
on the topic, it rings true to me that a big way society will demonize people they don’t like is to paint them as sexual deviants or predators. it rings true on our side (though it’s a worn-out point we make as a means to advocate for sex segregated bathrooms), but it also rings true on yours, the argument that we want to check women’s genitalia at the bathroom door to make sure transwomen won’t get in is a prime example of this.
it’s a means to make our request to keep bathrooms sex segregated look absurd and inhumane to the general public. like no sane woman worth her salt would ever want to keep poor innocent transwomen out of our single-sex spaces, but this is far from the truth. the more and more women become intimately aware of what sharing our single-sex spaces looks like in practice, the less and less women continue to be on board with the idea of single-sex spaces becoming single-gender spaces.
^ for those who can’t watch: a woman crying after seeing a naked male (who identified as a woman) in a women’s only nude spa.
you can choose your pronouns, your name, your clothes, your haircut, all the assumptions based on assigned sex that make up society’s concept of “gender,” but you can not choose what you piss with. females, people with large gametes, are oppressed based on what we piss (and mate) with. crazy, i know! women and girls having our own place to do our business is a sign of respect from society that wasn’t always there.
we are viewed as inferior by default, stripped of any right to personal autonomy in the public eye, and prior to the invention of single-sex bathrooms, the public eye’s view of women and girls was the deciding factor in whether or not we could do our business with our privacy, autonomy, and dignity in tact. when that changed, that deciding factor became whether other women and girls would allow us our privacy, autonomy, and dignity. surprise surprise, most often they do.
we want to keep that the deciding factor. making women’s bathrooms a single-gender space would walk back the progress it took to make respect between females that deciding factor. and we have seen time and time again that transwomen do NOT respect the boundaries and consent of women. if they did, we wouldn’t be here, having this conversation. so what makes you think that they’ll just stop with our bathrooms, changing rooms, spas, sports teams, everything else they demand to barge into?
however, you did actually kind of address the issue of lesbophobia within the broader LGBTQ community, so for this small act of kindness on your part, let’s genuinely unpack this issue on both sides.
trans people want their gender identity validated in all aspects of life. i understand that, i guess. transwomen also face harassment, assault, rape, and victimization from their fellow males in male single-sex spaces. that’s horrific! nobody wants to be subject to victimization when trying to mind their own business. that’s exactly why women are so insistent on preserving single-sex spaces in the first place. so in that regard, trans people and women are in agreement.
i genuinely believe that transgender individuals deserve their own places to mind their business without being bothered. that’s exactly why women fought for single-sex spaces to be integrated into society to begin with. but the existence of transgender individuals does not erase women’s need for sex segregated spaces. so, why can’t we have both? i believe all sex segregated places, including bathrooms, changing rooms, spas, sports teams, rape and homelessness shelters, etc., have a separate third space for trans and gender expansive people to do their business without walking back the safeguards put in place for other marginalized groups. a lot of TQ+ activists have been saying this for years, too. so why not fight for it like how women have had to fight?
so, here is my plea to you, tumblr user @mikusaysbegoneterf, along with all other TQ+ activists like you who prioritize the experiences and safety of trans people:
rather than repeatedly trying to threaten, stalk, spam, harass, and sexually violate gender critical women’s rights activists like myself and @butchpeace (not accusing you of those things, just pointing out some behaviors of your fellow TQ+ activists that i personally recommend prioritizing weeding out of your community as us radical feminists try to do with similar bad behavior in our own community), i and other women’s rights activists strongly urge you to use your energy, your resources, your public backing, and your voices to advocate for gender neutral/mixed-sex spaces and facilities for trans and gender expansive individuals. i know i will.
because everyone deserves their privacy. because everyone deserves their safety. and because yes, two things can be valid at once.

I see lots of people taking the q out of lgbq when they dismiss trans people and I feel the need to remind everyone being queer doesn’t only apply to non gender conforming people but also to people who don’t want to put a label on their sexuality

Ah im happy you agree sluts dont exist
However im not arguing what she is doing is feminist im saying SHAMING her for living how she wants isn’t feminist
I feel criticizing women for not being modest is a classic example of misogyny is all but ill make sure to read the article thank you 😁

I agree we DO NEED GENDER NEUTRAL BATHROOM AREAS I think having that would make the most people comfortable I just also feel trying to ban trans people from the bathroom of their gender makes it easier for cis men to go into women’s bathrooms as they can then just say they are trans men plus trans men being in women’s bathrooms may make people uncomfortable.
That plus how would you check people arent trans going into bathrooms it feels like it causes more problems than it solves.
But yea I agree we NEED gender neutral bathrooms and we should all put more focus on that then trying to just ban certain people from being allowed to go to the bathroom at all because if trans men cant go into mens bathrooms and they will be shamed for going into women’s ones or trans women cant go in women’s bathrooms and will be assaulted for going into mens ones where will people pee!
But thanks for explaining your reasoning
Also I have never threatened or stalked anyone if I did THAN SHOOT ME I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN DO THAT TO ANYONE + IF I DID THAT OR IF I EVER DO (I don’t think I ever will but if I somehow lose all my morals and do) CALL ME OUT DRIVE ME OFF THE PLATFORM I MEAN IT PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE WHO STALKS / HARASSES ANYONE FOR ANY REASON ON THE PLATFORM
I did not realize it was a common anti lgbq stereotype thank you for pointing that out ill try to be more careful in seeing when something like that is portrayed
Thanks for answering my question have a wonderful day/night 😁

Ok so I feel like this may not be clear on my page because of how I usually interact with terfs
Statistically lesbians are the least transphobic margin of people
So if I see anyone using transphobia as a reason to hate on lesbians again you will catch these hands

Ok so im confused where here does it say these women are lesbians in any way?
You are the one making this one homophobic
and yes there is lots of lesbophobia even in the LGBTQ community but that is not solely the fault of trans people AND yes lesbophobia is a big problem but that doesn’t make transphobia any less valid
More than one problem can coexist they don’t make each other any less valid

Hey big announcement I think I may be either nonbinary or gender fluid im not quite sure and really for my account it wont change anything other than I ask you to call me she/their pronouns
Again this may change and im not really going to put any kind of label other than being trans in some way onto myself for now (and maybe forever who knows)
Thank you for listening

He was right too trans women do like hatsune miku
When I was early on in my transition I got in a Lyft, and the driver was this big country guy. I was a little nervous so I just sat quietly in the back.
After a moment he changed the music on his phone to what sounded like a Hatsune Miku song. Curiosity got the better of me, so I finally spoke up and said “is this Hatsune Miku?”
And he said “Yep. You looked uncomfortable, and I know Transgender women like Hatsune Miku, so I thought it might help.”
I think about that interaction a lot.
