          it’s been quite some time since they were able to actually relax for once. most of his crew made themselves comfortable and scurried off somewhere in the damn island. which left killer and kid on the docks, right their vessel. he wasn’t even sure what the hell he wanted to do. he wanted to drink so much booze to the point where he blacks out– but being captain and on the wanted list wouldn’t allow him too much fun like that. he had to keep an eye open if he wanted to remain alive– if he wanted to remain free.

          and freedom, to him, was among one of many important things. a pirate that doesn’t have his freedom isn’t a pirate at all. among other qualities and traits.

     “Oi, Killer– why ain’t you with the rest of ‘em?”           the captain finally spoke up– hoping not to startle his most loyal friend and right hand woman. his gaze strayed towards his most trusted mate, pushing her forwards– in the direction where his other mates scampered off to.      “Quit worrying about me. Ain’t gonna be causing too much trouble. You know damn well I can take care of myself. Just stop your damn worrying and enjoy yourself.” 

     “I’m just gonna go buy out the bar.”

“I am aware that you can handle yourself more then well however the ship can’t be left unsupervised now can it?” the blonde replied simply, after all it would be a bad idea especially in these waters no less. Even if this island was quite relaxing doesn’t mean that your guard needed to go down all the way, not that she didn’t enjoyed relaxing every once in a while herself however she preferred to be prepared and ready when the wind changed.

“Also just because I don’t decide to explore or such does not mean that I don’t enjoy myself. Besides I find enjoyment in seeing others do the same so I think I’ll pass however thank you for the kind offer,” said with a slight smile, however not not visible for the other too see through the helmet that was covering her face.

At the redheads expression she couldn’t say no, with a sigh she simply gave the taller kiss on the forehead like her mom used to do when she was younger before smiling slightly.

“Sometimes you really are like a child,” the shorter chuckled softly. Granted he could be quite an angry one too at times but never the less she could take it, they had been by each others sides long enough for her to know how to  deal with his outbursts. But times like these; calm periods where nice too even if they where rare.

7. lingering kiss

She doesn’t remember why but she was faced with the strong urge to kiss him, she had been faced with it before but unlike those times she couldn’t even stop herself as he body moved on its own wrapping her arms around the redheads neck smoothly in order to pull the other down to her height to kiss him.

Soft painted lips rested against hers pleasantly, seconds passed as she slowly but surely realized what she was doing. As she struggled slightly with her body and with her mind a blush begun to spread across he cheeks before she pulled away unable to collect her thoughts completely.

23. sleepy kiss

The opening of a door nearby caught the blondes attention however decided to turn around, it wasn’t day yet however a constant muttering noise hovered over her in an attempt to communicate probably.

The feeling of someone shaking her slightly was added after a few minutes much to her annoyance and with that moved a arm to put it around the mans neck loosely before pressing a kiss to the mans lips as if to simply shut him up, to tired to actually think about the consequences at the moment.

“Just be quiet already..” the older woman muttered still clearly half asleep.
