I wrote that big ol’ post awhile ago and took a lot more screenshots than I ended up using. doing some research for things I’ve been looking back at them, so I thought I’d share because (fingerguns) them lucis caelum boys.

I think it’s Neat ardyn and somnus both have access to the armiger and summon their weapons with their respective color. 

incidentally, gilgamesh in the gladio dlc has a purple color scheme -- with separate flourishes of blue and red with different attacks. meanwhile, gladio’s sword glows with a blue aura throughout the dlc. (whispers) symbolism...

I really don’t have anything substantial to say about this, at least for now. I just wanted to share with yall

And Ignis?  He hunts, too. We tried to stop him, but he wouldn’t listen. He said, if anything, he’s more used to the darkness than we are.  Never did get his vision back…  I’m afraid not. But, that being said, he gets by pretty well on his own.

Brilcrist is reopening orders for their FFXV Dakimura covers. These were originally sold a few years ago.

Each character has to get a minimum of 20 orders for them to be reprinted. (If the minimum isn't reached for a character they'll refund the money)

There's Noctis, Prompto, Gladio, Ignis, and Cor.

Thinking about how funny Cor Leonis is like you meet him and he’s just some chill gruff older dude and he expositions to you to get the game rly going then you don’t really see much for the rest of the game. Then ya read his dossier and talk to him in Ep Gladio and it turns out he was just the angriest dude in the world when he was younger. Just a tiny ball of rage. This fifteen year old has a huge sword and will fight anything and everything that moves. He called his own prince a bitch to his face and Regis just invited him to be on his personal guard. Lucis uncovered the deep cave that housed the immortal ancestor who started the Amicitia line and he fucking picked a fight with them. The theory/headcanon that he was the one who rescued Prompto from the lab adds to his character so much because it IS in character. What other character in this game would go on a recon mission and come back with a whole ass baby. I love Cor Leonis.

I’ll maybe grab a proper cap of it later, but the description of ardyn’s sword, the rakshasa blade, reads like this:

“...One half of a pair, the Rakshasa Blade was forged alongside the Blade of the Mystic, beloved blade of Ardyn’s younger brother Somnus Lucis Caelum. Both blades possess different properties, forming a devastatingly destructive arsenal when wielded together. While one can assume both swords were imbued with the hope that the Brothers Caelum would rule in tandem, envy and ambition ultimately tore the two apart.”

the hope was there at least ;w; 

the lore for xv is all over the place so ultimately WHO KNOWS it’s nice to think about the boys and their swords working together tho who even made these swords? was reggie’s sword called sword of the father when he received it? who made it? who made any of the phantom swords/royal arms? THIS IS A HOLE WITH NO BOTTOM
