Y'all make fun of the outfits from Kingdom Hearts (2002), but fail to realize that they were PULLED FROM THEIR HOMES on a day that they were playing at the beach.

They HAVE normal clothes. They were wearing beach attire. Imagine being pulled through a dimensional portal while you're swimming and building sandcastles. Congrats! Your only clothes are these now:

Hi! After seeing your posts I've been wondering, do you ship anyone in Egyptian mythology. Kind of a crack question but them not as religious figures but more as ancient characters??? Sorry if this seems weird and thank you.

I do! I have lots of ships actually that I'd like to include in my comic somehow as well! Some are actually based on specific local traditions while others,,, are just very random lol

Starting off with the "somehow" canon ones, I ship Hathor and Sobek (I call this ship Sobthor bc it sounds so funny lol), Isis and Min, Nephthys and Osiris (I like, have a thing for unrequited loves but I think that overall they're very cute together), aaand last but not least, this might be a weird one but it never fails to make me laugh genuinely, is the one with Horus and Set and their lettuce romance lol

As for "canonical" ones, I especially like Thoth and Maat and Sekhmet and Ptah, because they're so different I can't help imagining their marital life like some sort of Rom Com lol

As for the random ones, I ship Anubis and Bastet bc they're so iconic that I often see them together in art and other pieces of media I couldn't help thinking how cute they could be together!

Anyways, regarding the last part of your ask, I know it can be a bit of a hard topic for some, especially when it comes to mythology, but honestly speaking, I'm glad you asked bc I like talking about ships! Actually, I would like to listen more to everyone's opinions and ships someday! I think it would be fun to share our ships together! If done respectfully, it's a lot of fun!

What's better than having two bros Gods watching over you? The Ptolemaic Dynasty seemed to fancy the idea, so they built a dual temple in Kom Ombo dedicated to two of the most powerful and mightiest Gods of Egypt: Horus and Sobek! The Dual temple is a unique one since it's by far the only temple dedicated exclusively to two male gods!

Of course, Hathor, Khonsu and other minor deities make an appearance as well, accompanying the two Gods as they form two little triads, but the two symmetrical sides of the temple are all dedicated to the mighty brothers! There's also a special guest, Ptolemy VI, the one who commissioned the temple who appears in the murals worshipping the two.

United, there's nothing they can't do!

The Horus we see in Kom Ombo is actually Horus the Elder. I do have a design for him as he will soon make an appearance in the next issue of the comic, but I like two think Sobek and Horus the Younger share a special bond as well!

Interestingly, Hathor does not accompany Horus in the two Triads of Kom Ombo as she forms a triad with Sobek and... Khonsu? Yeah, I know, fair enough xD but then, who's accompanying Horus? First is a special form os Hathor and Tefnut called "The Good Sister", and we also have another God called Panebtawy or "Lord of the Two Lands."

A bit of a useless and personal fact but it's thx to this temple that I ship Hathor with Sobek lmao.

Honestly speaking? It actually makes a lot of sense, I always wondered bout their roles and actual identity within the world of Dislyte.

I've always thought of Discboom as an Esper who is able not only to free other Esper's hearts from sorrow and confusion (just like we see in the DJ Contest mini game) but who is also able to,,, summon them? If it makes any sense. I mean, it's something I noticed with one of the first Dislyte animated trailers, and it made me wonder "what if she can actually ask the gods to lend their powers to humanity when needed?"

But I don't have many theories regarding Boom Boom, but I like yours!

What if BoomBoom is the god of the DJ world and Discboom is his esper but unlike other gods he did not only gave her powers but manifested himself in the human world to guide her but lost his memories in the process

And bc Discboom is his esper she gained some of the knowledge he lost and thats why she knows so much about the Dj world and he doesn't despite clearly originating from there

In New Horizons, if the game can't load an NPC due to their referenced model name being invalid, or for other reasons, the game will instead load a naked, unnamed Bob in their place as a failsafe. This was likely a dummy NPC used for testing reasons.
