Mock Interview
We recently got given the chance to do a mock interview in preparation for our university interviews. We got asked a series of questions including ‘what are your strengths and weaknesses?’ And what we’re interested in and why. We got feedback at the end of our interview and I found it really helpful and did a lot better than I thought, the careers advisors told us which parts of our answers we could think about changing in order to make us the best candidate possible and it was really helpful and has prepared me for the questions I may get asked when I get some real interviews for my chosen universities.

UCAS fair Manchester
We went as a group to the UCAS fair in Manchester on Tuesday 21st November, I looked at a lot of university’s and picked up a lot of prospectuses and freebies. I liked the look of a creative arts university near Newcastle, but because I want to stay at home id have to delay this another year and do a foundation to make me feel more comfortable. The Huddersfield university stall was really helpful and it was the same people who were at the open day, they recognised me and were able to give me some helpful information into what I may want to do next year in terms of going to university or doing a foundation course. Overall the day was very helpful and everyone I saw gave me a really good insight to the life at their university and i enjoyed it and didn’t find it too stressful.
