"I never really got into superheroes, either DC or Marvel, but even I know that he's always been woke or what those idiots think is woke."

"I barley know anything about superhereo related stuff, but even I know, that if not most, maybe all, superheros are supposed to be woke and are against being a piece of shit."

"Oh trust me, I know. Didn't need a new Superman or superhero movie or media to drop to tell me that." He laughed.

"Superman, and the majority of every single superhero book, novel or whatever, has always been woke and to stand against oppressive forces. Peopole are just fucking stupid."

"See you know your facts, I'm not surprised though." Milo looked at Imogen. "People seem to forget those very important facts about him when they complain about him."

"Superman is and always will be woke. He was created by two Jewish men in the 50's, if I remember correctly. He's always stood for justice. Those people that bitch about him are who he'd put in jail."

"Oh I know, it's a certain type of people that are complaining, again, about Superman." Milo said. "It's like fucking clockwork with these assholes."

"Well you already know why they hate him." Dan looked at Milo and chuckled. "Those are the same people that would hate him if he was real too."

"That is very fucking true." Milo looked at Dylan. "These are the same people that don't even know the difference between the difference between 'your' and 'you're' and 'they're', 'their' and 'there', so it's not really a surprise."

"That's because the people that complain are shitty as hell and they're mad that Superman would hate them."

"Yeah they just came out with a new one. I guess James Gunn wanted to reboot it, which is whatever, but you are right, there are plenty of other superheroes to give a spotlight too."

"People are still making Superman movies?" Skyler shook her head, "Can't they just give it a break? There are millions of superheros, do something new. It's just some dude flying around in tights."

"I don't think it sounds cliche at all, Spiderman is dope as fuck." Milo looked at her and smiled. "People are going to bitch and complain about every superhero ever. Nobody is always going to be pleased."

"I'm honestly not on the Superman hype." Maeve admitted with a laugh. "I was always more of a Marvel girly. Spiderman is my favorite as cliché as that probably sounds." She shook her head, "It's going to break a lot of peoples hearts. All hyped up for something that's going to let them down."

"Could you stop being a fucking ass hole?" Milo raised a brow at Callum. "I could give two shits if you're Obie or not, but that doesn't mean you have to have a fucking attitude about it."

Callum let out a sigh as he caught yet another pair of eyes locked on him from across the room. He tilted his head, expression deadpan. "Okay, first of all... I'm not Obie Bergmann." He said, arms folding. "Yes, I'm Callum Thorne. The actor. And yes, I'm Callum Thorne, also the kid of the smugglers." He said sarcastically.

He paused, letting the words settle like a punchline. "I'm really sorry if my parents stole something from you but I had zero hand in it. Now could you please stop staring at me unless there's something on my face?" @ggstarterblog

"Well at least now you'll know if they want to see you or not." Milo said. "Better than having doors slammed in your face and wasting energy going to each of their places."

Dean looked at Milo and shook his head. "It's just annoying and fucking scary at the same time how fast Gossip Girl works sometimes. I'd rather have told my friends and Ella and those I wanted to know that I was back on my own terms, you know?"

"Hey, I can be alone with my fucked up thoughts for like five minutes." Milo laughed. Though he did appreciate that Mateo didn't want to leave him alone. The club had never really been his scene and he always felt overwhelemd in places like this. "Though, we both know what'll happen if I am left unsupervised for more than ten minutes." He joked.

Milo cocked his head to the side and laughed. He had missed hanging out with Milo and his jokes. "Man, I would, but then who would be here with you?" He joked.

"When have I ever gotten sick of your company Briar?" He asked and smiled at her. "Let's go then." He said and began to walk with her. "How are you doing?" He asked. "I mean, besides the usual about whatever Gossip Girl has to say."

"I know I'm late, but I promise I'm yours for the rest of the day, or until you get sick of me and decide that you're done with me for the day." She laughed and looked at him.

"As for the food, you know I never turn down anything in Hell's Kitchen, especially with how much I love Gordon Ramsey." She laughed. "Let's go! Let's not waste another minute."

"I am too, though you seem like you need it more than me. I know summer vacation is about to begin for your students and I know how fucking ruthless they get this time of year." Milo laughed and looked at him as they began to walk to the restaurant. "What's been going on with you man?"

Asher grinned as he stepped up beside Milo, not bothering to hide how good it felt just to see him again. He leaned on the railing, shoulder brushing Milo’s, eyes following the same slow swirl of the river.

“Man, I don’t care what we do. I’m just glad we’re here.” He let the silence stretch for a moment, letting the air settle between them like old times. “This place... yeah, it’s got a weird magic to it. Like it remembers things better than we do.”

He laughed quietly, then added, “And you know I’m always down to gamble on food. Let’s find out if this place is a hidden gem or a gastrointestinal disaster. Either way, it’s a story.” He nudged Milo lightly. “Lead the way.”

"I hate when people do that, like they think their time is more important than your own, it's just rude." He said and looked at her and smiled. "See, this is why I'm glad we're hanging out. You're not afraid to try something new. More people need to be like you, Dylan."

"I know and I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to be, I got caught up in a phone call that did not seem to end no matter how many times I said I had to go." She laughed and looked at Milo. "I think it's good that it never changes, sometimes change isn't always good." She said. "Oh you know I am for sure. Let's go!"

"You know what Fuentes? I like the fucking way you think man." He laughed and clapped a hand on his back and led him to the bar. "I'll buy the first round."

Issac smiled at Milo's reaction. He was one of the few people who he didn't have to pretend around. "We're gonna catch up. Let's go get shots too."

"That's fair, you gotta go out to the country side and even then, the country side of New York isn't that quiet." Milo laughed and looked at Jordan. "Man, you know me, I don't read." He laughed and began to walk with him. "If it gives us food poisoning, you can put all the blame on me, and well, you'll have another place to not take Frankie."

"How much quiet can one actually get in Manhattan or any part of New York City?" He joked and he approached his friend with a smile. Leaning against the rail, he looked at him and listened to him speak and glanced at where he gestured to.

"Man, what's got you all sentimental?" He raised a brow. "You been reading feel good books again or something?"

His curiosity only piqued when he spoked again and nodded. "I could eat, yeah and you know I'm always down to try new food, even if there's a good chance it'll give me food poisoning." He shrugged. "Let's go roll the dice, Rutherford."
