I've been struggling with some pretty intense artblock lately, and so in an attempt to overcome it I sketched out this figure of past Alice (around 1922 maybe??) last night... In whatever getup you'd like to call this. She looks oddly tall to me in this drawing. Maybe it's just my brain messing with me... Or perhaps I did draw her taller than usual. Who knows.

I feel like a winner... Arthur, while having such a simple look has somehow been such a pain in the butt to redesign! (fur pattern and head shape wise.) He doesn't exactly look the part of "sophisticated business man" but I think that's okay. We all have our struggles. His daughter is next on the list.

I despise ref sheets with my entire being.. Well, drawing them at least.- I can't say this outfit will stick, Alice will likely end up with an obnoxiously large wardrobe due to my inability to commit to one look. It's surprisingly hard to figure out something she would realistically wear, while also trying to stick to proper 1920's fashion...I also may or may not just hate this dress.
