Silly Game Time: I grant you the power to escape any unwanted interaction by use of a magic word. Whenever the word is spoken, you will disappear from your present location and reappear in the nearest public restroom that is at least 1/2 of a kilometer (or about 1/3 of a mile) away.

Which word will you use (keep in mind that the magic will activate whenever anybody or anything in your presence uses it)? And what will be the visual effect of your disappearance and reappearance?

The word is “flibbertigibbet”. I think it was a Gryffindor common room password once? Either way, I don’t think I’ll ever be in a situation where I can say that accidentally, and if I will, it’ll probably be for the best if I disappear.

The effect… just have me fade out. Not very slowly, but slow enough to be noticeable. Preferably starting with my right hand, because I’m definitely not in my Back to the Future phase now, no.

Silly Game Time: Okay, the bad news is that your reality is basically a simulation and tomorrow the OS is being updated so that everyone will have visible marks across the back of their hands similar to tattoos. I guess the operators think it'll look cool? *shrug* Dunno what to tell you.

The good news is that the process will be automatic, painless, and you get to choose your marks, no matter how intricate or simple (provided you choose something that covers the back of your hand and is distinctly visible; otherwise, it'll be randomly assigned). So what kind of mark(s) are you choosing?

I have this burn mark that I got in… holy shit, APRIL 2021???! I got it while taking the chicken out of the oven. Classic stupid Minnie.

Anyway, it’s teeeechnically on the back of my hand? I mean it’s closer to the side, but it’s still on the back. And… I’ve grown to love it, you know? It’s still there, visible after FOUR YEARS!!!!, but since one day it will tragically fade out, I wanna have my mark be exactly on that spot, the same shape and size as it, and preferably the same color (but brighter).
